Byulyi muttered under her breath as she dropped her intoxicated wife onto the soft mattress, then plopped down beside her to regulate her breaths before preparing a warm bathtub for the latter to clean herself. When she came back, there was no one on the bed: instead, a figure was leaning into the mini fridge, where two bottles of lemonade were always available for when either of them needed to sober up from any drinking (which, for a very long time, was mostly Byulyi). The younger woman smiled. Maybe Yongsun wasn't as drunk as she thought.
Her smile faded, however, as she realized her wife's body was slumping down, a sign of her slowly drifting to dreamland with her head about to clash on the beverage shelf. She quickly pulled her up and dragged her onto the chair of the make-up table, opened a bottle, and almost poured half of it into Yongsun's mouth. To her relief though, the older woman started to be more conscious of her surroundings (more likely due to the previous aggressive motions of her wife than the lemonade itself).
"Would you prefer me to help you with the bath or you can do it yourself? Your clothes are already inside the basket by the tub." Byulyi softly asked. Yongsun blankly stared at her for a while as if trying to process her words, then wordlessly stood up and staggered into the bathroom. The younger woman could only shake her head and grab her own nightwear to the other bathroom in the house to clean herself.
Yongsun sat on the edge of the bed, surprisingly staying still and calm like a puppy for Byulyi to dry her hair. The white noise indeed calmed people down easily, and it wasn't hard for Byulyi to notice how her wife started dozing off. Her silky smooth hai
