Tiffany reminisces about the childhood she shared with Jessica and how they grew up together.

Sometimes, Tiffany felt that if she focused hard enough, she could still feel the energy she'd once felt. That time when all she wanted to do was play in the grass and have fun. Now all she wanted to do was sit quietly beside her girlfriend and watch the world pass them.

Her eyes drifted to Jessica's face, resting peacefully on her stomach. If she tried hard enough, she could pretend it had been the same years ago when they were kids. She wondered how Jessica would react to this fantasy. Would she be surprised? Happy? Sad? Would she understand? Would she even care?
