Reform Academy
Description
"I hate to break it to you...but some people are just villains."
Seventeen years old, but with nothing to show for it. No meddle with her name on it. No family portraits lining the halls, filling a home with the uncanny feeling of warmth. No, Kim Hayun didn't have anything like that.
But, when she was younger she'd fantasize about someone picking her. Taking her home to the kind of place she only knew of in fuzzy memories, long saturated by cruel realities and harsh age. So, she didn't believe it when an old man showed up claiming to be her grandfather. She waited to startle awake when he took her home to a house bigger than any she'd ever seen, and gave her a uniform for the most expensive private school Seoul had to offer.
And she waited for him to hate her like she hated him for sending her to mingle with the children of other aristocrats, but he didn't. Afterall, he'd expected her to be reluctant, and he applauded her for standing by her values; he was only doing the same.
Hayun's life had flipped completely on its head, and because of that she had to learn how to fit into a place where she stuck out like a sore thumb. And she had to learn the difference between a villain playing a hero, and a hero playing a villain; because she was pretty sure it would kill her if she didn't.
