After Ryujin departed, Minjae and Minjeong decided to watch some classic Netflix show in their living room to kill some time before going to dinner in Shin's residence.

Minjae settled on a series called Strangers Things that came out years ago. Being a fan of the series, Minjeong was very well aware of the said series. It was the same series that Minjeong and her past lover watched together, even the main cast noticed them because them being hardcore fans and sent some merchandise for them.

Minjeong stared at her daughter and couldn't help but notice the sparks in her eyes. The same sparks when she looks at her food or her favorite toy. Minjae was exactly a replica of her other mother. Other than the hair and eyes that she got from Minjeong, most of her physique came from the latter.

With her reminiscing mind, Minjeong was taken aback when she first held Minjae in her arms. The way her cries resonated in the hospital room. The way Minjae first smiled at her.

"Minjeong, push!" The doctor shouted but it was overpowered when Minjeong screamed her heart out higher than Irene's high note in RBB.

"I can't. I can't do it."

Tears were already bursting out of Minjeong's eyes, making her see nothing but blurry surroundings. The pain she was feeling was intolerable. She was being split in half down there. 

The brunette was losing her confidence giving birth to her child but a thought came into her mind that if Jimin was here with her, she would be her rock, she would be the source of her strength.

Minjeong remembered how her ex-lover would comfort her when her insecurities were getting inside of her head. She was Minjeong's light. A point of light that managed to break through the abyss of darkness of Minjeong's life and mind.

Minjeong managed to break into a smile as she thought of her. She quickly gained strength as she imagined her cute eye smile, her plump lips, and her contagious laugh.

For the last push, Minjeong screamed from the pain that she was going through. It will be done, Minjeong. She would finally meet her small bean after nine months.

Minjeong was slowly losing consciousness when she heard the cries of her baby girl. Her sight became more blurry and darkness engulfed her whole being.

The bright white light from the ceiling woke Minjeong up. She was welcomed by no one. Only the heartbeat from the monitor and her breathing could be heard in the four walls of her hospital room. Minjeong was the only one going through with this life of hers after her parents kicked her out of the house after finding out that she got pregnant.

How supportive of them.

A nurse came by holding Minjeong's little girl. She was so tiny and fragile and beautiful. Minjeong picked her up and couldn't help but to tear up the moment she laid her eyes upon her daughter.

She was an angel, an angel that was made in heaven.

"What do you want to be her name?"

"Kim Minjae, my precious little girl."

After some time, it was then Minjeong realized that they should go get ready. Being with a five-year-old was a mess— a whole chaotic mess. Minjae would throw a tantrum once in a while just to get what she wants. A brat you might say.

Maybe it was because Minjeong spoiled her so much. Why? Because Minjeong only got her and Minjae only got Minjeong so why wouldn't Minjeong give everything Minjae wants? You may be wondering how bad a parent Minjeong was if she kept on spoiling her kid but Minjeong knew that and still gave consequences to Minjae's naughty attitude.

"Baby, it's time to get ready. You need to take a bath," Minjeong told her daughter who was still attentive to the television in front of her but Minjae managed to gasp dramatically and rolled her eyes at her mother.
