I am walking out from the café as I see florist on my way back to my car. The city of New York, I am very excited and nervous to see that person who I have been wanting to meet, who I have been missing a lot. I just keep checking the time on my phone every single minutes. Why does time work so slow today? Well, I am early. I am early for an hour than we originally plan to meet. The smell of roses got me as I stopped to buy a flower for her.

It's been 8 years. 8 years since we last met.

“Can I have 6 white roses?”

6 white roses mean I Miss You. I miss you a lot. I am not sure what will be out first reaction. I really miss us. I am very emotional right now. It’s mix feeling of happiness and sadness. I miss how we are inseparable. I miss how you clingy on me. I miss how much we loved each other.

“Total is $20”

I took the bouquet as I gave money with my credit card. I parked at the building of Blanc & Eclare. The parking in New York is hard but gladly they have their own parking. My heart is pounding like crazy. I come out from the car as I bring my bouquet. Is it too much? Am I doing extra again? I was staring at the bouquet until I heard someone else.

“Miss Kwon?”

A guy with nice black suit called my name as I put my bouquet back in passenger seat and looked at him.

“Miss Jung ordered me to you to her office”

He is Korean. I followed him to her office room. The building is nice and huge. The decoration is neat and simple. It’s so Jessica. She has been doing great. Her business is doing good. I am so excited to see that CEO kid that I loved.

“She will be there soon”

The guy said as he left me at the office. The office is neat. I can see through the beauty of New York from her full length glass window. There is a desk and chair. And small living room aera with couch and coffee table. I am standing in front of the window as I am staring at the view outside.

“Yul”

I heard her sweet voice from the back which make me feel very emotional as well as nervous. I turned around and saw her standing behind me. A girl who is a little shorter than me with fair pale skin. She is so beautiful. Yet so mature. She is with her color blazer and pant set.

I was staring at her as I couldn’t talk. My brain isn’t working really well. I think hers too. She didn’t talk anything. She just stares at me. We are staring at each other with smile. Then she started to tear up. It makes me tear up too. Then her tear fell on her face. She starts crying. I wanted to comfort her by hug. I couldn’t help but my tears flowing on my face. It is so sad, and my heart is aching. Why are we like that? I was imagined that we will greet by hug and smile. We will talk about our memories and laugh. But…

Why did we hurt each other that much?
