Joohyun clenched her jaw, staring at the woman in front of her, sitting in all her glory, almost looking uninterested in the small briefing that was being presented by someone she couldn't care less about.

Son Seungwan was sitting there like their parents weren't going to announce that they'll be getting married by the end of the briefing.

It irked her. 

She remained composed when her parents broke the news to both of them. It would take some time to digest the news. She wasn't going to protest because contractual marriages weren't new in the business world.

Son Seungwan annoyed her. She concluded after seeing the most nonchalant expression on her face. She made up her mind that Son Seungwan was an annoying, stuck-up, and pretentious rich brat.

“Son Seungwan. Pleasure meeting you,” Joohyun never felt this much urge to punch someone's face until she came across the infuriating girl. She could sense the smugness just by looking at her face.

“Bae Joohyun. Pleasure is mine,” Joohyun bellowed, making sure to direct her piercing stare toward Seungwan's eyes.

The handshake was intense. It was the announcement of a war. A mutual war between the two individuals.

It was their first mistake.
