• Both mun and muse must be internationally in order to join HALO. However, joining the rated group is optional. 
• HALO welcomes all ualities, and any homophobic or hateful behavior will not be tolerated.
• All faceclaims must be active within the Korean entertainment industry.  
• We do not accept faceclaims who are involved in major scandals or controversies, are deceased, married, or have stated that they do not wish to be roleplayed. In addition, we do not accept ulzzangs or internet personalities. You may view a list of banned faceclaims here. If you need further clarification, please do not hesitate to ask!
• Moving couples are welcome, but we do ask that you still strive to interact with other faceclaims as well. 
• There is a dating ban of two weeks. 
• If your muse is under the age of 21, they may not enter a romantic or ual relationship with a partner that 5+ years older than them. If they are older than 21, then this rule does not apply. 
• Marriages are permitted, pregnancies are not. 
• You should have some general knowledge of your faceclaim before applying to HALO, including basic information, schedules, and existing relationships. While you may take creative liberties regarding this, please do your best to portray your muse as accurately as possible!
• We ask that you set your own emojis and be sure to emoji others’ posts as well!
• We allow for a maximum of 2 muses per person, but you cannot roleplay another member of the same group (ie: EXO’s Kai and EXO’s Baekhyun). However, you may roleplay past members (ie: EXO’s Kai and EXO’s Lay). Second muses are allowed after 3 weeks of activity and admins reserve the right to refuse a second muse if there is little to no activity on the first. Please do not ask us for a second muse prior to these 3 weeks. If you apply for a second muse without informing the admins, you will be denied.
• Character changes are allowed. There is a buffer period of 2 weeks between each character change, and we ask that roleplayers do not abuse this role.
• All triggering content should be tagged with the appropriate warnings.
• Leave all baggage at the door! This means that if you have problems with others within the community, we ask that you do not bring it to HALO. 
• While it is inevitable that you will become closer to certain faceclaims than others, we ask that you do not bubble RP, and that you do your best to interact with others within the community. 
• Breaking the fourth wall, metagaming, god-modding, faceclaim-hogging, and mixing IC and OOC are not allowed. IC drama is allowed with the consent of all parties involved, but should it bleed into public spaces and make others uncomfortable, admins reserve the right to intervene. HALO will not tolerate bullying, hate-speech, racism, homophobia, or any kind of problematic behavior. All of the above are subject to blacklisting from HALO’s directory.

how to join

• Anonymous reservations are not allowed and must be made through the appropriate Google form. Please be sure to include a 4-digit number when making a reservation, and to include that number on your application so we can correctly identify you! Anonymous reservations made through our messages on either Tumblr or AFF will be ignored.
• If applying through Tumblr, your account must be active and at least 6 months old. Similarly, if applying through AFF, your account must be at least 6 months old. Please be sure that we are able to contact you through whichever account you decide to use!
• Upon acceptance, you have 48 hours to add the admin team. Failure to do so will result in your faceclaim being freed. Please include your favorite color combination in your application!
• Recycled accounts may be used. Indicating a new RP is to the mun’s discretion.
  Please include “halo krp” somewhere on your profile. In addition, all faceclaims must have an SNS handle that is attached to each of their posts. 
• All account names must be in English and include your muse’s full name. Lapslock is acceptable. Please do not include spaces, emojis, Hangul, or symbols. Legal names are preferred over stage names. (ie: Kim Minjeong, minjeong kim, winter kim.)
• We encourage you to include your muse’s uality on your profile to avoid any potential misunderstandings.

• Upon addition to the groups, you must post an introduction in the “Intros” group and create at least one timeline post within 72 hours. Failure to do so will result in removal from the roleplay.
• Please have your timeline set to “New Posts” first so that you don’t miss any new posts from fellow members! In addition, make sure your contact list is visible.
• Be friendly! Welcome new members, comment on posts, and interact with your fellow angels. 
• Our weekly activity check consists of 1 post per week and 1 comment on another member’s post/introduction post. This member cannot be your significant other or from your friend group. Members should comment under the appropriate post in the “Notices” group to complete the activity check. Activity checks conclude on Sundays at 11PM PST (3 PM KST).
• You are exempt from the activity check occurring on the week you join the roleplay.
• Failure to complete one or both parts of the activity check will result in a warning from the admin team. After a third strike, you will be removed from the roleplay.
• If you are removed from HALO, you must wait 72 hours before reapplying, whether with the same muse or a new one. You cannot reserve a faceclaim in this time. 
• Semi-hiatuses last for up to a month, and you must complete at least two of the weekly activity checks within this time. Full-hiatuses last for up to 2 weeks, during which you are exempt from all activity checks. After taking a hiatus, you must wait a month before applying for another. When your hiatus ends, you have 24 hours to make a new post, or you will be automatically removed from the roleplay.
• Please keep up to date with important updates and announcements! Changes to the roleplay may be made at any time, including new rules or changes to the existing ones.
