Description

He was staring at her just like she was staring at him as they lay apart from each other, opposite to one another just a few beds thrown a way. She finally broke the gaze as sleep and tiredness washed her, but little did he knew that was their final farewell before he drifts away. The shoutings of voices giving instructions woke her up, with hopeful eyes she wondered around the crowded bedding area to catch that charcoal eyes again. Glanced here and there just to find empty beds of the people she knew, the people she addressed as her second family. With a heavy heart she returned to her bed site to discover something below her pillow. A single white tulip and tied to its stem was a familiar silver ring, his silver.

She ran like crazy across the deserted runaway that had cleared out for the emergency planes to take off. Her bare feet came to a halt on the hot cracked pavement when those familiar eyes pierced through hers, the eyes of the people that she once claimed as her family and that charcoal eyes she once was so lost into. Uneven breaths from the long run, she looked with hopeful sad eyes at the people sitting on the departing plane. None did anything but to exchange unreadable expressions, all she could do was glancing back at the retreating plane with teary eyes and controlled sobs. An untold farewell that she didn’t saw coming. Right then she knew that was the last time she’ll ever see them and that charcoal eyes of the man she once loved or she thought.

“This is not farewell, will always be thinking about you” - H.A

She finally let out a sob, crumbling the note in her hand with a final glance at the retreating plane. The second family she thought she was blessed to have left without a single utter.

3 Years later the throbbing nightmare that haunted her dreams for years finally showed up again. On one business cruise trip that unexpectedly turned into a reunion or more like bumping into the people that have haunted her dreams for years, the people she once called as her second family and those dashing charcoal eyes that used to make her breathless. Unable to greet them back with the same warm smile that they were giving her.

“So all this time, he was the one who’s been sending me these white tulips ?“ - She uttered bitterly letting out a chuckle, looking down at the flowers. White tulips were her favorite and he knows that.

“I never left you, we never did. I was always there watching you, love” - H.A

“How funny of me for actually thinking i was apart of you guys but only to be left behind. You guys were always a team, a family which I wasn’t originally a part of. So foolish of me for imagining stuffs” - Shaking her to convince herself from the bitter truth or the untold truth? She was so hurt when they left her just like that, when she thought she was one of them.

But there’s a reason to why people say “everything happens for a reason”. <3 read to reveal the untold story ʕ·ᴥ·ʔ
