"Two tickets for Minions please." Sabi ni Karina. Nasa mall sila ni Winter para magdate. 

Teenagers lang ba ang pwedeng magdate sa malls or movies? 

Habang bumibili siya ng ticket ay bumibili naman ng popcorn at drinks nila si Winter. She volunteered to buy them snacks, so Karina agreed. 

"Hey, I got our tickets na. Bakit ba Minions papanoorin natin?" Karina asked and shyly handed the ticket to the guard. 

Winter smirked.

"Edi wag kang sumama kung ayaw mo," she taunted. Karina whined.

"I got us two popcorns." Sabi ni Winter. Karina shrugged. Accidents happen everytime couples share a popcorn. Yung cliche na palaging magkakahawak ang kamay tapos magtitinginan, and then they'll look away like a bunch of idiots. And sharing one with Winter might not be a good idea. Baka mangyari sakanila ang cliche, pero imbes na mag-iwas ng tingin ay iiwasan siya ni Winter ng ilang buwan. 

They found their way to their seats. Winter hummed as soon as she sat on her seat. Kanina pa rin kasi siyang nakatayo. She may be an athlete, but she is also like the others. Tamad mag-exercise at palaging nakahiga o nakaupo. 

Karina stared at the younger girl. Bakit kaya sobrang ganda pa rin ni Winter kahit na ang ilaw lang na mayroon sila ay ang screen? Sobrang nafall na ba siya kay Winter? She is not complaining though. Winter is worth everything. Oras, pagod, pasensya, lahat. Winter is worth it. 

"May dumi ba ako sa mukha?" Tanong ni Winter nang mapansin ang mga titig ni Karina. Hindi pa naman nagsisimula ang movie dahil napaaga sila ng pasok, but at least malalandi ni Karina si Winter. 

"Wala. Ang ganda mo," sabi ni Karina habang nakangiti. Napatingin sakanya si Winter. Hindi niya alam kung dahil ba sa ilaw ng screen o nagbblush talaga ang dalaga. 

"Ang corny mo talaga."

"Alam mo ba, the first day that we met, sobrang nainggit ako sayo." Napataas ang kilay ni Winter. Well, this is a first.

"Bakit ka naman nainggit sakin?" Natatawang tanong ni Winter. She leaned her body towards Karina's seat. She can feel the taller girl's breathes on her cheeks.

"Because you're so pretty. I am actually conflicted if I am being honest. Like, do I get jealous of your beauty, or do I marry you?" Sabi ni Karina at umiling. She kissed the younger's cheeks and giggled. 

"And? Anong nangyari?" Winter asked. Inilapit niya pa ang mukha niya kay Karina. She smiled. 

"And over the years, I have chosen what to feel. And it is to marry you, Winter," sabi ni Karina at ngumisi. Winter kissed her on the lips. 

In all of Winter's 23 years of existence, she never did think that she would get to make out in a movie theatre. But here she is, making out with the love of her life. 

"I want to marry you too. Pero unlike you, I was not confused," the younger said and planted another peck on Karina's lips. Nakita noya rin ang mole sa may bandang lower lip ni Karina. 

She planted a small kiss on the mole and smiled. She loves kissing her girlfriend, maybe more than she loves doing household chores. 

"Winter, the movie is starting," bulong ni Karina nang maghiwalay ang lips nila. Winter whined. Hindi pa sila tapos. Dapat pala ay sa bahay na lang sila nanood, para unlimited ang make out. 

"Hmmph." The younger said and crossed her arms, Ang epal naman ng mga minions na to. 

"I'm curious though. How come you could kiss me if you're afraid of physical contact?" Tanong bigla ni Karina. The thought suddenly came into mind while kissing her girlfriend. 

Winter shrugged. Hindi niya rin alam.

"I actually don't know. Kissing you is like a normal thing. It's like breathing for me," sabi ni Winter at ngumiti. Her eyes are on the screen. She feels like a different person. In a good way. 

"So, you're saying that kissing me is a neccessity of some sort?" Nakangisin sabi ni Karina. Kinikilig siya gago. 

"Well, if you put it that way, then yes. Kissing you has become a neccessity to me, so don't leave me. And I like kissing you more than I like air," sabi ni Winter at tumingin kay Karina. Her eyes sparkled. The movie is long forgotten. Pwede naman nilang irewatch yan kasama si Darcy. Uunahin niya muna ang landi ngayon. 

She did not wait for seven years to be so timid around Karina. 

"Bakit naman kita iiwan? I got you, for your whole lifetime and mine. Hanggang forever na tayo, babe." Sabi ni Karina. 

Winter chuckled and shook her head. 

"Can we please watch na? Or no?" Karina hummed.

"Sure, wifey," sabi niya kay Winter at ngumisi. 

It's not destiny that put them in this position. It was their patience and love. 

Kung ang iba ay magkaholding hands tuwing nanonood ng movie, iba si Karina at Winter. They're making out while watching the movie. 

And it's nice. Because after a long time, Winter finally feels alive.
