Welcome to my fic, which is an original idea and alternate universe of my own! I'm so happy to be sharing this all with you who come across it, I have been wanting to write this soulmate!AU since 2019... I've finally gotten around to it now 3 years later, and it feels so satisfying to write. Soulmate tropes and taekey are two of my favorite things! So, I hope you can enjoy reading it as much as I do working on it!

Of course, based on the title, I take big inspiration from Disney's Sleeping Beauty song, "Once Upon a Dream". And though the song didn't spark my idea initially, I found it funny how the lyrics matched the premise of my AU anyway! Give it a listen if you haven't already~
