"Teacher!" 

I looked down when I felt someone tug the hem of my sleeves. 

I then saw a cute little kid dressed in a pink shirt and a jumper named Dandelion, but students call her Dandi. Her short hair with bangs is tied up in a pigtail at kamukha niya si Boo sa Monsters Inc. 

"Teacher, I'm done na po!" 

Kinuha ko ang inabot niyang papel sa akin at tinignan ang gawa niya. I told them to draw something or someone that's important to them. 

A smile formed on my lips. This kid drew her family, and even their dog. Lagpas-lagpas 'yong kulay, but I can clearly see the kid's effort. 

And then, my eyes caught something in her drawing. May isa pang bata sa tabi ng drawing ng isa pang bata which is I think is si Dandi.

I looked at Dandi, still smiling. I patted her head, and I swear I saw the kid's eyes glimmer. Cute. 

"Very good, Dandi. You did great, little flower." 

Dandi gave me a toothy smile. "Thank you, Teacher!" 

Bago pa siya bumalik sa upuan niya ay itinanong ko na kung sino 'yong isa pang bata sa drawing niya. 

"Dandi, do you mind if ask who is this?"

The kid shook her head and giggled. "Okay lang po, Teacher. Siya po si Miki. Me, Mama Riri, and Mommy Ning always visit her after my class. I treat her as my sister." 

"And where do you visit her?" 

"Do'n po sa may orphanage malapit dito sa school." 

Tumango-tango naman ako. So Miki's an orphan.

I ruffled Dandi's hair. "Thank you, little flower. You may go back to your seat now."

The kid just smiled and nodded before going back to her seat and starts looking at her seatmate's work. 

It was not that long when the school bell rings. 

Masayang nagsipag-ayos ng gamit nila ang mga bata hawak-hawak ang mga papel nila with their drawings. 

"Give me your papers before going out, kids."

Pumila sila nang maayos at isa-isang ibinigay sa akin ang mga papel nila. Not that I'm boasting but, ang hina-handle ko ang pinaka-behave na klase rito sa pre-school na 'to. 

"Good job, kids! Teacher will see you on monday, yeah?" 

Nagsitango naman sila kaya I smiled. 

"Oh siya, go na! Your parents are already waiting outside."

"Babye, Teacher Yana!" Sabay-sabay na saad ng mga bata tsaka ko sila pinalabas ng classroom. 

Pinagmasdan ko silang lumapit sa parents nila. Ang iba ay todo kaway pa sa akin kaya napakaway na rin ako. 

I waited sa may pintuan for a couple of minutes just to check if nasundo ba ng parents nila ang mga students ko before going back inside of the classroom.
