I need to explicitly state that this fic doesn’t take place in any specific time aside from “modern”. However, in the third interlude (you’ll be able to tell when those are lol), there are specific dates mentioned. Please don’t take them literally. Since the context of this fic is scoped in years, I couldn’t just generalise the dates to ‘Day Month 20xx’ because events two years apart would look the same to the reader in this section. Please let me know if this is confusing!
