In the new decade, Sunlight was starting to establish itself as a new semi-big company. A company with a big range of artists that's known by name by most people that are into kpop. As the company got its name out there with the debuts of Necalli in 2018, Adore in 2019 and Estrela in 2021, more trainees started to join the ranks. After a move to a bigger company building, CEO Lim decided to let everyone develop for a few years before debuting a new group.

Plans for the new group started to grow in 2023 by observing the trainees. The mix of new blood and old faces that didn't make it into the first generation of groups brought inspiration to the CEO. He wanted to give this chance to debut to so many people, but as always, there could only be a few to make it...

But when the CEO announced the plans of the group to the company, people were not expecting this turn of events at all. A huge project to start off Sunlight's second generation of artists, named Curation of Magical Ethereal Talent, or CoM3T! for short. Who said weird acronyms weren't a thing in kpop anymore?
