The thumps and moans grew louder as Jinyoung stood in shock. Did that lightning actually bring his old coworker to life? No, it can’t be. Jinyoung swallowed as he took steps closer to look again at the casket. "Sandeul?"
    From inside the casket, a groan echoed back in response.
    Jinyoung groaned as well, not knowing what to do. Part of him wanted to rescue Sandeul from the fate of being buried underground forever. Jinyoung had the thought of being caught with the body and how that wouldn’t end well. What if Jinyoung was actually grieving and imagining those noises?
    Well, for one thing, Jinyoung guessed that he was on a rescue mission because his feet kept moving forward, and before he knew it, climbing down the muddy pit.
    The noises stopped. Maybe Jinyoung was just hearing things after all. But... what if? Jinyoung slowly pulled open the lid.
    Sandeul immediately sat up, dressed in the fancy suit he was buried in. With hazy, glazed over eyes, he found sight of Jinyoung. "Ji-?" he seemed to ask.
    Jinyoung felt water in his eyes that wasn’t rain. It finally hit him that Sandeul actually died. Now he didn’t know what to think of the wounds and bruises he could see when the clouds parted and the moon glowed. That car accident must’ve been a nasty one... but what was also nasty was the smell.
    Covering his overpowered nose, Jinyoung still smiled, tears rolling down his cheeks. "Nae, it’s me, Sandeul. You’re alive? You’re actually alive!"
    Grunting happily, Sandeul raised up his stiff and floppy arms to the wall of the hole, attempting to climb out, but only pulling down handfuls of mud.
    "I... I guess I can help you out." Jinyoung lifted Sandeul easily, carrying him over his shoulder, and they were out on the grass moments later. Jinyoung set him down where Sandeul just flopped as if he lost all muscle mass.
    Sandeul sat up once more. "Ji-!" he demanded in his raspy voice.
    "What is it?" Jinyoung sat next to the stinking fellow, still not believing his eyes.
      Those stiff, floppy arms rested onto Jinyoung's shoulders as Sandeul tried to hug him. More tears streamed from Jinyoung's eyes. "Yeah, yeah... I missed you, too" he admitted, desperately not trying to let the stench get to him.
    A pain erupted on Jinyoung's shoulder, and to his horror, Sandeul was biting him. Hard. "Ya! Stop that!" He tried to push him away, yet Sandeul's jaw seemed to be the strongest part of his body. His teeth sunk in farther.
    "Hajima!" Jinyoung finally set himself free and scrambled to his feet. "You will not do that again! No biting!" he commanded, waving his index finger.
    "Ji..." Sandeul snatched a hold of Jinyoung’s ankle. "Guh-!"
    Jinyoung shook his ankle free. "Mian, but I don’t speak zombie. Maybe... I should probably put you back. The world doesn’t need a biting dead guy on the loose." He rubbed away the pain on his shoulder. "I was bitten by enough exotic creatures in my life."
    "Guh... luh..." Sandeul tried to stand, but his legs kept collapsing under him. Jinyoung finally understood that he just wanted to walk.
    "Hey! What are you two doing out here?" The grave digger returned with his shovel now that the rain came to a stop.
    "Sandeulie, your request will have to wait." Jinyoung flung him over his shoulder before running without a destination.
