Married

3 Identities of my Mysterious Wife

A/N:

As some of you would know, the AFF breakdown made me lose 8 chapters from this fic. I had initially typed 8 of them in one go throughout the weekend but it's all gone now.

I'm just glad I didn't lose my other fics. I can't imagine typing another 42 chapters of Woohyun's a Jerk.

I'm sorry for the slower update for this one. Thanks for sticking with me.

The big day arrived sooner than either of them would have liked.

Since their meeting one month ago, L.Joe and Mihye have met up exactly three times, each on a date to know each other better, but each lasting less than fifteen minutes.

Instead of themselves, they talked about the contract, which Mihye insisted they sign so that she would have some sort of insurance at the end of six months. She didn't need his money, she just needed for them to part amiably and hopefully not cause her family any damage in reputation.

After signing the contracts, they went off in their own directions and did their own activities until it was late enough to return home. Their parents had no idea of these happenings and thought that their children were getting along really well.

Naive really.

But even so, they still dreaded the big day to arrive, but it did, of course. Even though Mihye knew that this would happen since the beginning when her father broke the news to her that she was actually engaged to some man, it never felt as real as it did now when she was dressed in a white gown, standing outside the church.

She peeked inside the coloured glass windows and saw the whole church filled to the brim with guests, relatives and friends, all of them here to see this couple get married.

She herself was dressed in a beautiful white gown, simple, yet elegant, with minimal makeup that still made her look angellic, and a cute veil on the top of her head. She took her father's hand and found that it was cold and sweating, as he looked at her with tear filled eyes.

Mr Choi smiled at her softly and Mihye forced the corners of her lips to twitch up in a forced smile. *You can do this, Choi Mihye. For Abeoji and Omonim. You can.*

She plastered the most natural smile she could configure on her face, glancing at the windows and looking at her reflection. It showed the most beautiful bride one has ever seen, and the most unhappy one too. The flower sisters fussed over Mihye's dressing, shoes and makeup, even though this marriage wasn't one of will but commitment.

Hyomin patted Mihye's shoulders comfortingly as the doors of the church began opening. "Hwaiting Mihye ah." she whispered.

Mihye nodded and took a deep breath, stepping into another beginning of her life.

L.Joe stiffened as the doors opened. Standing by the altar, he thought he wouldn't have any feelings more than a business dealing. This was what it was, wasn't it? A simple event for show with no feelings involved.

But he couldn't help but feel a little emotional. This was his wedding.

Even though he was a guy, he too dreamed of getting married with his Mrs Right. Too bad this woman walking towards him now wasn't. It wasn't until his eyes fell on his bride that his eyes widened and his jaw dropped, having to consciously close it again to prevent himself from looking like a fool.

*Damn. She's beautiful.* he gulped as Mihye met his eyes through the veil.

He could hear murmurings throughout the church as the other guests were dumbfounded by Mihye's beauty. She was really the most beautiful bride one has ever seen, and even though L.Joe didn't love her, he couldn't help but feel a little pride that he was the groom.

The Teen Top members were gaping at Mihye while she walked past them.

Changjo swallowed hard. "And Byunghun hyung said she was just a little better than average." he muttered. "What sort of girls are beautiful in hyung's eyes then if this is just moderately pretty?"

"She's a fairy." Niel whispered in awe, his eyes shining.

Chunji had the biggest reaction. "What the hell Lee Byunghun!" he cursed under his breath. "This isn't fair! Why do you get such a gorgeous one for a wife! You're most definitely not in the right mind to want to divorce her." he growled in envy.

They reached the altar and Mr Choi smiled at Mihye warmly. He  took Mihye's hand, placing it in L.Joe's and holding both their hands. "Take care of her, Byunghun." he bit his lip to force his tears back.

L.Joe nodded. "I will." he said quietly. He glanced at Mihye and noted that she was crying. She was looking at her father longingly, and it dawned on him that when they got married, Mihye wouldn't be able to see her parents as frequently as she did before.

Sudden guilt washed over him even though he wasn't the one to force them both into such a position. He took her hand as they faced the priest, waiting to say their vows.

Mihye stared blankly at her feet while the priest yakked away.

This was surreal. Even though it was just a six months thing, it was completely naive if she thought she could get her orginal life back after the marriage. L.Joe was one of the hottest topics even before marriage, and their wedding was one of the most discussed events of the year.

When they got divorced, people were bound to look at Mihye differently, guessing the reasons for their separation. Her family might be laughed at, for producing an unsatisfactory wife.

In the mean time, she had to act as the good wife she had been trained to be since she was young. No more were pillow fights and sleepovers with the flower sisters. She had a totally different role in life now.

A gentle squeeze on her hand made her look up. L.Joe was looking at her warmly and cocking his head slightly towards the priest. Mihye blinked. "Y-Yes?" she stuttered nervously.

"Will you, Choi Mihye, take Lee Byunghun as your lawfully wedded husband?" the priest asked with a smile.

Mihye nodded as she returned her gaze to her feet. "I do." she whispered.

"I now pronounce you, husband and wife!" the priest declared, sending the crowd into a frenzy of cheers. Mihye felt herself being turned by the shoulders to face L.Joe as he looked down at her, searching her eyes.

Her eyes suddenly widened when it dawned on her what they were supposed to do. She completely forgot this part of the wedding, and one of the most significant and symbollic part too.

The kiss.

Mihye started panicking. She hadn't kissed any guy in her life, what was she supposed to do? And now her first kiss was to be exhibited for the whole crowd? What if she did anything wrong? She didn't know any of these things!

L.Joe tilted her head to look at him and saw the fear in her eyes. He sighed softly and wiped the tears away from her cheeks tenderly, marvelling at how smooth her skin was.

"Don't cry." he whispered. "It'll be over soon."

With that, he swooped down and pressed his lips lightly against Mihye's pink ones. They came into contact for less than a second, but he couldn't help but notice how soft and kissable her lips were.

He pulled away and put on a smile as he waved to his family and friends. Mihye's cheeks were burning red as she tried smiling at the crowd too.

L.Joe took her hand again, leading her out to the limo that would take them to their honeymoon. He sighed to himself. *It has begun, Lee Byunghun.*

Meanwhile, a lone man was standing at the side, watching the whole affair. His eyes had never left Mihye's since the beginning of the wedding.

He could only feel admiration and slight jealousy as he watched L.Joe lead Mihye out. He noted the pink tints of her cheeks after the short kiss, and he smiled to himself. *Cute.*

He watched as the two went on the limo that drove them to the airport. "Byunghun is so lucky." he muttered. "If only I weren't a butler but some Young Master. I can marry her as well."

He shook his head to clear those thoughts. "Aish Kevin Woo. Don't daydream." he told himself. He looked at the limo that drove away. *Choi Mihye.* he thought, as a the same dreamy smile assaulted his cute features once again.
