_5 YEARS LATER_
Dahan-dahan ko'ng iminulat ang aking mga mata "panaginip na naman" bulong ko sa sarili ko matapos akong gisingin ng panaginip na iyon. Well...that moment happened 5 years ago, pero minsan ay napapaniginipan ko pa rin iyon. Lumingon ako sa aking tabi, para lamang makita ang girlfriend ko. Dahan-dahan kong pina dausdos ang hintuturo ko sa matangos nitong ilong.
"you're awake...?" she held my wrist but remained to close her eyes. "mhm, Did I woke you up?" tanong ko ngunit dumilat lamang ito para ngitian ako. "no... I'm awake since 5 but I don't want to wake you up" paliwanag nito bago bumangon. "5? AHH 6 NA AH!"
I rushed to the bathroom as Wendy started cooking our breakfast.
This is my morning routine for the past 4 years. Iniisip ko nga na pa'no na kaya ako kung wala siya... How empty and senseless my life would be without her? "CAREFUL!" na himasmasan ako, matapos akong hilain nito palayo sa heater. "I told you to be careful when you're around dangerous things Irene... Pa'no kung napaso ka??" her voice was serious but her eyes were worried. I cupped her cheeks and made her look into my eyes. "I'm alright, tsaka kahit naman mapaso ako... Di naman ako masasaktan" biro ko dito, ngunit malakas na hampas lamang sa noo ang nakuha ko. Tinawanan ko nalamang ito, hindi ko rin naman mararamdaman "see it didn't hurt!" I jokingly said before running away from the scene.
