“We’re Dong Bang Shin Ki.”

The Significance of One

The doors opened to the warehouse and light shot in. there, standing confidently, was Kim Junsu. The men, gambling inside, stopped and faced him. They grinned.

“Well, well, you came.”

“Where is she?” Junsu got straight to the point.

“Get her out!” commanded the man.

The other men went in and came out with Ri In, still tied up, blindfolded and had a cloth in . He had his hands gripped tightly on the on the roped that was tying Ri In’s wrist together.

“Ri In!” cried Junsu.

That voice sounded familiar to Ri In and she recognised it right away. The man pulled the cloth in Ri In’s mouth away harshly.

“Junsu!” cried Ri In as soon as the cloth was out of .

“Are you alright, Ri In?” asked Junsu.

“Junsu, watch out!” shouted Ri In instead.

Junsu turned around and dodged a man’s baseball bat right in time. Junsu grabbed the guy’s arm and threw him onto the ground. Ri In’s eyes widened. She never knew Junsu knew martial arts.

“Junsu, where’d you learn that from?” questioned Ri In.

“I learnt a little, just enough to defend for myself,” answered Junsu.

“Ah, our boy knows a little self-defence, eh? That would make the game more fun, way more fun,” the man smirked.

“Let her go!” Junsu demanded.

“Come and get her if you can,” taunted the man.

Suddenly, Ri In got hoisted up by a rope tying to her wrists.

“Ri In!”

“Ah! Junsu, help me!” pleaded Ri In. The rope was dangerously swinging.

Some men approached Junsu. He sent a kick towards the man on his right. The man fell backwards. He grabbed the arm of the guy beside him and twisted it.

“Ah!” and the guy fell.

“Junsu, behind you!” warned Ri In.

He punched behind him and the guy was sent flying. Junsu punched the man in front of him and the man’s face went in the direction of the punch. Regaining his posture, he punched Junsu near the lips. Junsu stumbled back but managed to send the guy a punch before the guy sent him one. Using so much force, Junsu sent the guy to the floor.

Ri In struggled to get out of the chain. Her hand was sliding out but it was scarping against her skin, causing her to bleed a little. She stopped. Luckily, the chain that was tying her wasn’t rusty.

“Hiya!” cried one guy as he sent a kick towards Junsu. Junsu swiftly moved aside and the guy bumped his head right on the pole that was behind Junsu.

Junsu was being distracted, fighting against one man when he didn’t see what was behind him.

“Junsu, behind you!” instructed Ri In.

Junsu quickly turned and managed to dodge the guy. He fought for a little while longer and he was already exhausted. One guy charged to Junsu but he punched him, hard.

Once again, he was distracted. But this time, not because of fighting. A man was going to cut the rope that supported Ri In. If he did, then Ri In will definitely fall. Junsu ran to the guy and tackled him down. Junsu, being his lack of skill and coordination, got hit on the back.

“Argh!” Junsu groaned.

“Junsu!” cried Ri In.

He was now on his knees, held down by two men. They put their hands on his shoulder and gripped his wrist.

“Well, well, now, is our pretty boy too weak to fight now?” asked the man as he walked over and raised Junsu’s face up using his forefinger. Junsu faced the other way, not letting the man touch his face.

“Stubborn as you are, you won’t be able to save her,” laughed the man.

“Who are you?” gritted Junsu.

“No one you need to know.”

“What do you want with me?” demanded Junsu.

“I have already answered this question once; your life,” replied the man.

“Then, let Ri In go!”

“No, I want her to see you being beaten half to death. When you are, it’s your turn to experience hat sight but this time, on your beloved,” the man chuckled.

“Don’t you dare touch her!” shouted Junsu.

“Oh, we’ll see. Boys, hit him,” commanded the man.

The man on the left side of Junsu raised a metal baseball bat in the air, reading to hit him.

“No, wait!” stopped Ri In.

“Stop,” the man commanded, “what is it now?”

“I’ll take the punishment for him,” Ri In said.

“No,” replied the man curtly and waved his hand for the other man to continue.

The other man raised his bat again. He made sure that he would not inflict too much pain onto Kim Junsu. Ri In closed her eyes, not wanting to look. The guy brought down the bat. Before it hit Junsu, he decreased his speed and a bang could be heard. Junsu had been hit. Junsu fought the yell that was going to escape his mouth. He did not want Ri In to be afraid. Junsu fell limp on the floor. Ri In’s eyes were still shut as tears escaped them. One by one they dropped slowly.

“Don’t worry, Ri In, I’m okay,” comforted Junsu.

Ri In’s eyes were wet with tears.

“Argh!”Junsu softly groaned. The man had hit again. Tears escaped Ri In more and more. They flushed furiously down her cheeks. It was hard, painstakingly hard, to see the one she loved getting hurt. She would rather be in Junsu’s position right now, to take the pain away from him. Or at the least, share the pain with him.

The door of the warehouse suddenly opened, letting light enter, and everyone turned their faces towards the door. There, by the door, were four handsome figures. Their faces were hidden by the strong light from outside.

“What are you doing here?!”

“We couldn’t afford to have our best friend and his wife’s face dislocated,” answered the guy in the middle, the leader of the small group.

“How did you get in here!?”

“A couple of punches and kicks got rid of the job,” answered the tall guy.

“Who are you!?”

“We’re Dong Bang Shin Ki.”

I KNOW, short chapter. It's nearly the end anyway. The end is chapter 33. Only TWO more chapters to go. Less than a week! I haven't even finished chapter three of the sequel! Well, expect a LONG hiatus before you see me posting anything SuYin.

Thanks guys, for supporting me. I teared up as I read your comments.

There is actually several reasons that triggered me into leaving AFF. One of the many reasons is the overload of Li Yin fics that aren't SuYin. I used to like AFF, where I could not spot one fic opposing SuYin but now? Lots of them. I can't bear it. I really can't. There has been more than two so if it goes over what I can hold, I WILL be leaving AFF but still continuing to write. Sorry guys but during the time I try to get the sequel done and I see an overload, I will be posting it somewhere else so if you still want to read the sequel. Sorry. That really is the main reason that I'm not active on Chocolyn. There are too many fics and people opposing SuYin and I can't bear it. I only have, what, 4 posts?

Really, I'm not really active in anything. DBSK, JYJ, Super Junior, they have members that hurt me at the mention, especially DBSK and JYJ. Why? JaeYin, YooYin, HaeYin and stuff. Yeah, I'm sensitive to some stuff.

The replies are below. Have you all seen them in the previous days?
