Narrator’s POV

The clock ticked as time passed. Nothing interesting happening at all. Just, Ri In and Junsu don’t know what they will be expecting. Ri In, nowadays, practices her Karate, Tae Kwon Do and Martial Arts almost every day since she is very bored. Even that can’t make her any less bored. Ri In slumped into her office as she finished practicing. From the day Ri In and Junsu didn’t sign the paper, Ri In and Junsu’s Appa had let Ri In returned to the company in fear of getting her endangered if she were to be left alone. Even though Ri In tried to convince her Appa that she knew Karate, Tae Kwon Do and Martial Arts but that didn’t seem to work on her Appa since he had another purpose. He wanted to make sure she was under supervision until they contact Han Geng.

“Oh hey, Ri In-shii, how are you?” Sunny said as soon as she saw Ri In.

“Oh, I am fine,” said Ri In though she was puffed out because of all the training.

“You do look very tired though,” stated Sunny.

“It’s nothing. Do I have any work I am to do?” asked Ri In.

“Nope, there’s nothing at all,” replied Sunny.

“Aww, I am already bored enough,” Ri In whined.

“You should be happy. After the promotion, there will be plenty of work for you to do. Enjoy the time while you can,” Sunny said.

“How about now? The present matters now, not the future,” Ri In complained.

“Oh fine, go play soccer or something. I can’t help you with anything,” Sunny said.

“Good idea, Sunny! Komawo!” thanked Ri In and happily got a soccer ball out of her bag.

“What, do you carry that every where?!” exclaimed Sunny.

“Neh, I do,” Ri In said cheerfully.

“Who are you going to play with, though?” questioned Sunny.

“Good point. Who do you think will play with me?” asked Ri In.

“Maybe get our team to play with you,” suggested Sunny.

“Good idea! You never run out of ideas, Sunny,” said Ri In and dashed to go and asked permission from her Appa. Sunny smiled after Ri In.

Ri In’s POV

It took me quite some time to get to Appa’s office. I stood in front of the door once I reached the place. I knocked on it lightly.

“Come in!” called Appa. I opened to door carefully. I walked inside and saw Appa and Omma.

“Morning Appa and Omma,” I greeted.

“Morning Ri In!” Omma cheerfully greeted me back.

“Morning Ri In!” Appa greeted as cheerfully as Omma.

“I just wanted to ask if you would give me permission to play soccer with my team since we basically have nothing to do,” I said.

“Stop slacking off,” I heard a voice. I was shocked to find Junsu beside the door.

“What are you doing here?” I questioned him.

“You took the words right out of my mouth,” he said.

“Oh come on, I already answered. If you were to be listening, you would have heard,” I retorted.

“I didn’t have to listen to your words,” Junsu bickered.

“Then, I don’t have to tell you,” I said and smirked in victory. He was speechless.

“Sure, Ri In. But, can we play too?” asked Appa. I smiled widely, knowing that I am allowed to play soccer. It’s been long.

“Sure!” I replied.

“How are you to play when there are hordes of reporters out there?” Junsu asked. Omma, Appa and my face fell instantly.

“You do have a point,” I said.

“What do we do now?” asked Omma.

“How about go to the private resort? We can stay there for three days,” suggested Appa. I have never been to a resort, or even a private resort.

“We can!?” I asked Appa, full of hope.

“Sure, we can. We can go this morning since it is early. Tell your team mates to come too, Ri In,” Appa said.

“Yay! Kamsahamnida, Appa!” I thanked and rushed out of the room to tell my team. Once I reached there, I yelled,

“Everyone, we are going to a private resort for three days! Pack your bags and we are going once everyone is ready! I got permission from Mr. and Mrs. Kim and they are going too!”

“Yay!” everyone cheered, even Junsu’s team. I turned to face Junsu’s team.

“I am not sure about you guys. Mr. Kim only said my team. Maybe you can ask Mr. Kim if you can come too,” I told them. They sighed in disappointment. Suddenly, I felt a stinging pain on my right cheek. Taeyeon had slapped me. Everyone gasped.

“Why aren’t you letting us go!? Are you the one that told Mr. Kim we aren’t allowed to go?!” demanded Taeyeon. Tears slowly formed and made their way down.

“Why would I do that?” I said between my gritted teeth.

“Because you are a ,” answered Taeyeon.

“If you don’t believe me, ask Mr. Kim if you wish,” I said and turned to face my team.

“Come on everybody! Pack your bags! We are going to a private resort!” I repeated. Everyone in my team grinned. I heard a sharp whipping sound cause in the air and I knew that Taeyeon wanted to grab my hair. I twisted out of the way and Taeyeon fell face first. I tried to hide my laughter while everyone on my team burst out laughing.

“What’s wrong?” I voice demanded. I turned around and came to face with Junsu.

“Nothing, she just tripped herself,” Sunny said, pointing to Taeyeon. Junsu ran to Taeyeon an immediately helped her up. I felt my heart crack. I wanted to mend the pieces back together but it kept on hurting more as I endured.

“What did you do to her?!” shouted Junsu at me.

“Me?!” I asked in disbelief.

“Yes, you,” Junsu confirmed.

“Why did you always think it’s me?!” I shouted back at him.

“Who would make Taeyeon fall then?!” yelled Junsu.

“I would never! Stop making assumptions. By the way, thank you Taeyeon. Because of you, your team is not going to the resort anymore. Have fun at the company! Oh, and try not to do anything…you know… it’s disturbing. See you! Let’s go guys!” I said and left the place. The last thing I heard before I went outside of the floor was groans and complaints from Junsu’s team. I smiled. This sure made my day.

Narrator’s POV

The next day…

“Ah! It’s so beautiful here!” exclaimed Ri In.

“I am glad you like it here,” said Mr. Kim.

“I can’t wait to play!” yelled Ri In.

“Actually, Ri In, I kind of gave something planned first,” Mr. Kim confessed.

“Eh?” said Ri In and her team faced Mr. Kim.

“I hired the people that conduct variety shows and stuff to host here so we could have some fun. You know, like competitions,” Mr. Kim explained.

“Oh, I have always wanted to do those activities! Komawo Appa!” Ri In thanked. Suddenly, a man came and introduced himself.

“Annyonghaseyo, I am Shin Dong Yup and I will be hosting this game,” introduced Dong Yup.

“Annyonghaseyo, Mr. Shin,” everyone greeted.

“You don’t have to be courteous. Just call me Dong Yup-shii,” said Dong Yup.

“Neh, Dong Yup-shii,” everyone agreed.

“Okay, everyone, organise your rooms and personal items. Since we have only three days, we have limited time. I want everyone back here in half an hour. In that time, use it to change into comfy clothes and take a shower if you wish,” commanded Dong Yup.

“Neh, Dong Yip-shii,” everyone said at the same time and scrambled off to their rooms. Dong Yup opened his notes and tried to remember the names of the people that came. There was: Jang Ri In, Lee Sunny, Kim Jae Joong, Shim Changmin, Kim Yesung, Lee Donghae, Kim Ryeowook, Kim Heechul, Lee Sungmin, Lee Eunhyuk, Henry Lau, Zhou Mi, Cho Kyuhyun, Kim Kangin and Park Eeteuk.

“That is a lot of people,” Dong Yup mumbled. Dong Yup sat down and tried to memorise the names.

There was noise at the rooms as everyone was getting their stuff.

“Attention, everyone!” shouted Mr. Kim. Everyone stopped and faced Mr. Kim.

“There is one bed per room but there are enough rooms for everyone. If you have any inquiries, contact Dong Yup-shii or me. Though, it would be wise to contact Dong Yup-shii since I won’t be participating in most of the activities,” Mr. Kim announced.

“What, Appa? Aren’t you and Omma coming?” Ri In asked.

“Aniyo, we can’t. You know, we are already very old. I don’t want to break a bone,” Mr. Kim joked.

“Oh, araso. Though it’s a pity,” Ri In sighed.

“Come on! Don’t get moody! How long has it been? Hasn’t Dong Yup-shii said that we are to return in half an hour?” Mr. Kim questioned.

“Oh yeah,” said Ri In and ran to get ready.

Back with Dong Yup…

Dong Yup almost memorised all the names but what the problem was, was that, he only knew the names, not the faces. Dong Yup checked his watch and it was already half an hour. Seeing that there was no one, he yelled:

“Come out!” there was some noise and finally, everyone emerged.

“Ah, finally you guys are here,” Dong Yup sighed.

“Mian, we got into a bit of a mess when we decided where to sleep,” apologised Ri In.

“Anyway, we are going to split up into two teams and compete. This time, whichever team loses, will have to wash the dishes, clear?” Dong Yup explained.

“Neh, but how are we going to split up into teams?” asked Sungmin.

“We will be doing that by a quiz. The person who gets the answer wrong will go into the Babo Team and the person who gets the answer right will go into the Daebak Team,” said Dong Yup.

“Who’s going to ask the questions?” asked Eeteuk.

“I am,” answered Dong Yup and he pointed to himself.

“Oh,” Eeteuk nodded.

“OK, let the quiz begin!” declared Dong Yup.

I missed 09/09! But since it's the holidays, I will update more frequently. You might be able to find your reply by going to 'View More Comments' or something like that. Hopefully, I can get this done by the end of the year. :) I have already written out chapter 29 so yeah.
