Chapter 1: 👀 pretty unique plot right here 👌👏. The idea for conflict sounds so simple yet it is not. Verbal communication is normal no matter the amount and frequency so to have 0% of it at all is mind-boggling. The fact that it isn't even an issue of being mute or trauma but simply is (due to the curse)would definitely be irritating AND disheartening. Painful. Given that it is only towards a special person, a soulmate, it is all the more feeling of helplessness and frustration. Thank goodness Seulgi and Joohyun do have other ways of communicating. Being able to send messages back and forth would be a balm to the soul because they can freely express themselves there. At least they can do that and communicate rather than have nothing at all. Interpreting body language and signs also helps them cultivate their bond more ❤.
