Chapter 2

 8 YEARS LATER 

Lee Si An go to school like any ordinary student. The only different about her is she has bodyguard. 2 bodyguards that assign to guard her all the times are Son Hyun Woo and Nam Jin Young. In class 2 of them will stand behind like a statue. They always wearing the same black suit with their hair neatly comb behind. They did not do anything just stay close with Si An.

As Si An grow up, she become outstanding student. She excels in academic and sport. She did not take advantage of her social status but she really learns very hard. Si An also learn some martial arts and sword fight. She wants to protect herself.

Si An change into her Taekwondo’s uniform. She stands in the middle of the room, alone. She’s waiting for someone to come, to help her with afternoon training session. Outside the window, she could see the sun is shining bright and the tree leaves moving gracefully because of wind. She likes to open the window wide and let the air fill in the room. She can’t stand the sweaty smell in this room. She could hear the other students outside of the room.

“Sorry....” He apologizes right after open the door makes Si An turn to the door look at him. Si An cross her arms in front of her chest. She stand tall and always ready to start her training. Jungkook catch his breath. He must be running to this training room.

“Where is Jaehyun?” Si An ask Jeon Jungkook. Jaehyun is her afternoon training partner. Jungkook will be her morning training partner.

King Hwal makes Jaehyun in charge of Si An’s safety. He is the Captain while Jungkook is his assistant. Nam Jin Young and Son Hyun Woo will directly report to Jaehyun. Since 8 year ago, 3 of them training together. Jaehyun and Jungkook become Si An bodyguard in disguise. If Si An had official duties, 2 of them will not come but stand by close at the event. They become Si An ‘secret agent’.

“King Hwal called him back to the Palace.” Jungkook answered. He stands straight as he walk closer to Si An.

“Wae?”

“I don’t know.” Maybe because of 3 of them always stay together, they become very close.

Jungkook become Jaehyun’s assistant because they could move like one body. Their skills level also about the same. This is why Si An only training with them. They are the best bodyguard and even their skill past General Jung. King Hwal feel assure if they always stay close with Si An. Si An not only need to beware of the kidnapper or crazy people but demons as well. Anything happen Jaehyun and Jungkook is there to protect Si An even though he know Si An could handle demon by herself but as a father, he still worried about her safety.

“Afternoon training is cancel.” Si An said and take her uniform off. She’s wearing a white shirt under her uniform.

“Where are you going?” Jungkook asked as he runs after Si An. Si An just throw her uniform on the floor and grab her bag.

“Si An!” Jungkook called as he follows her from behind. They maybe friend but she still their superior. Si An stop run and look at Jungkook.

“I don’t like it when my father calls Jaehyun or you.....” Si An said from her heart. She always worried about them when they by her side. Their job is to protect her from danger. They protect her with their life. She watch too many royal guards lost their life when protect her from danger. She doesn’t want Jaehyun and Jungkook become one like them too. That’s why she training hard so she could protect herself from danger. She can stand in front and protect the one she loves. She doesn’t want to lose anyone anymore.

“It’s nothing.... just a regular report.” Jungkook explain to her.

“Are you sure?”

“Yes. You worried too much.” Jungkook said with a little smile. Si An look closer at him. She wants to see if he is lie. Jungkook speak the truth. If he lied he will bite or his lips.

“Let’s start training. Captain Jaehyun will scold me if he knows.....” Si An look out the building. It is a nice and beautiful day to coop up in training room. She did not hear Jungkook at all. She just turns to him with a smile with meaning.

“I don’t like how you smile....” Jungkook said.

“Let’s play hooky today.” Si An said and drag him out the building.

“Lee Si An!!!” Jungkook shout her name out loud. Si An just laugh as she run while drag Jungkook with her.

Jaehyun close King Hwal’s office room. He wear a full Royal Guard uniform and a file in his hand. Every time he gave report to King Hwal about Si An, he did not feel good. He feel like he betrayed their friendship and stab Si An at the back. Si An told him before that he just do that because it his job. She understands and did not have hard feeling. Jaehyun sigh and look at his watch.

‘They must be training now...’ He thought. He changes his uniform and walk out from the palace. He stands near his motorbike as he looks up. He did not feel good. The weather is nice. It’s sunny and breezy perfect weather to play at outside.

‘Please be wrong this time....’ He said. His intuition is sharp when it come to Si An. He can understand her very well. It’s like a sixth sense or telepathy. He calls Jungkook but it go to his voicemails. He tried to calls Si An and it off.

“Lee Si An....” Jaehyun calls her name as he could guess what is going on right now. He put his helmet on and goes to school first.

Si An and Jungkook change their clothes in the nearest toilet. They put their clothes in Jungkook training bag. They walk around the market first to fill in their hungry tummy. Si An like to eat in the market area. She can choose anything from the
