The rest of the night went utterly quiet for Nayeon and Baekhyun. Both of them sat on opposite sides of the dinner hall. It was the first time they have a deep and heated argument like that and Nayeon was sure neither of them was willing to back down. For Nayeon herself, she couldn't help but feel distracted by the tension between her and Baekhyun. It was a pain that she feels as soon as he asked her what she wants. She was too blinded by her anger especially when Yerin had made it worse enough for her. She was fidgeting a lot and when even Chanyeol come to ask about her, she just answers him shortly which the taller didn't ask even further. Suddenly, Yerin's voice boomed over the speakers.

"Ladies and gentlemen, it's time to announce our Best Designer for this year's show!"

Nayeon didn't care about that. She has nothing to do with it. She is sure Yerin will win since she has shown the design that is supposedly Nayeon's and the show was also under her family's management. Now that she realise that Yerin had used her. Baekhyun was right. Yerin was a smart girl. Yerin is a step ahead of her and the young Park even easily steals her work for the show. Nayeon knew that Yerin was going to make a big deal out of announcing herself as the winner, just to rub it in Nayeon's face. Sure enough, Yerin once again started her speech. 

"This award was dedicated to those who share the same dream with me... A long time ago, I was a normal girl who loves to play around. I make jokes and pull some pranks on my beloved one. Sorry for that Chanyeol." 

The audience laughs over her humor. Chanyeol who was sitting beside Nayeon chuckles. Yerin looks at her twin brother playfully before speaking again. 

"I think for me to be like what Park Yerin you see now is almost impossible before. However that person. Yes, that person who is here tonight had changed me to be better. He isn't that nice but the heartbreak that I went through in our previous relationship taught me to grow up and be a stronger woman. Years later, he is here." 

Nayeon could easily guess who that person is. Her heart was in more pain than ever. Yerin continues her speech as she looks at the audience. 

"He is here tonight with his wife. Pretty, smart, and everything that she is that even I would be jealous of. Gosh, I can't believe I will say this." 

Yerin pretends to be shy. The audience once again laughed. Yerin smiles at Baekhyun who was on the other side of the stage. Nayeon noticed as a genuine look before turning mischievous. 

"To that person, thank you for being my friend. You never changed. I swear to god, you're one hard guy that I would never want to deal with again." 

Nayeon had herself listening to Yerin. There's something in her speech that sounds off. Yerin then looks at Nayeon as her looks went soft. 

"I feel overwhelmed to work with our best designer for her passion which was more than myself. This woman was recommended by my brother and her husband who also is my friend. Her husband was so eager to show her work to me as he believe in her. I couldn't help but admit his claim that she is indeed amazing talent in our industry."

Yerin said as she was full of praise for the winning candidate. It was a proud and happy expression that she display. 

"The dress that you see during the ending of the show was called Tale as Old as Time is her design. I owe her for saving the night as our supposed model to walk down with that dress cannot attend the night due to personal issues. I am sorry for the issues that occur." 

Yerin said as she gestured towards Nayeon with her proud look. Nayeon had herself shocked. So Yerin didn't wear the dress on purpose? She was replacing the absence model. Did Nayeon just misunderstand her?

"Without further ado, the winner is... Byun Nayeon!"

Nayeon was shocked. Her eyes were looking at Yerin who was having a smile on her face. Nayeon felt a pang of guilt as she walked toward Yerin to accept the award. As Nayeon took the award from Yerin, she felt a wave of emotions wash over her. She couldn't believe she had won the Best Designer award, and she was grateful to Yerin for her kind words. But what caught her off guard was Yerin's comment about Baekhyun.

Nayeon had known Baekhyun for years. They had grown up together and had been close friends for a long time. But recently, things had become more complicated between them. They had shared a few romantic moments and Nayeon realise her heart went beating fast each time Baekhyun is around her. Yerin's comment made Nayeon wonder if Baekhyun was the one she wanted. She looked over at him, and their eyes met. He looked at her with a mix of emotions - happy, proud, and something else she couldn't quite identify despite they were arguing earlier. Nayeon feels overwhelmed by the sudden award. Yerin then holds her shoulder. Her voice was soft and slow. Her eyes were also in the same direction as Nayeon's. 

"You own him for tonight, Nayeon." 

Nayeon looks at Baekhyun who looks at her from downstage genuinely happy for her as he was clapping along with the audience. That night Nayeon had learned something new about Baekhyun. 

Nayeon was in the dark hall backstage to collect the clothes to bring them back to her boutique as soon as the show finished. She was alone for a while since the staffs are still outside enjoying the late-night snack prepared by Yerin's team. Nay
