HYNIX GAMING is a brand new League of Legends challenger team that was added to the LCK when HLE announced their decision to sell their spot at the end of 2021.

As a brand new team, created to compete in the biggest league of South Korea and one of the highest rated of the world, Hynix gaming was the start of a huge challenge and a gamble for their mother company.

They were offered to keep HLE's old roster under contract, but Hynix' managers decided to rebuild a whole new team to their own liking. A team that would be unseen of before in any kind of major league, especially South Korea, where there are no females nor foreigners involved in the league. Their talent pool of young Korean males is considered more than big enough. Hynix pretty much ignored these standards and went ahead to pick up whoever they were interested in.

This story follows this unique Esports team from their beginning to the moment the team inevitably parts. A brand new team filled with unusual challengers, trying to crawl their way to the top, and to the world championship.

01: Please subscribe if you're planning to apply and if are chosen into the story! Upvoting is not mandatory but always appreciated.

02: No bashing, no negativity, be friendly to the author and your fellow applicants, please. If you have any issue with someone, please come to me in dms to talk about it (ex they copied something or acted rude). Don't make me do the Feeldog quote again.

03: Please read the cheatsheet and plotlines before/while applying to make sure that you know what to do and make no avoidable mistakes. Since this is a subject not many of you know about, I will post a lengthy information page. If you have any further concerns or questions, don't hestitate to dm me, I'll happily help. I will hold the hands of anyone who needs it and guide them along the application process.

04: Please do comment once every few chapters at least if you got a character in the story. If you have a reason to not comment like you're on hiatus or something, dm me beforehand, please! That way I know to not have your character leave the team or something. Yes, there will be purging if you go inactive without a word. And yes, team changes are very common in Esports.
