SOL POV

I'm sleeping peacefully. But I suddenly wake up in the middle of the night, it was raining and you can hear crashing thunder and lightning outside. I also feel someone's hugging me tightly and I feel her body's shivering around me.

''Rina?'' I said

''Sol, I'm scared of lightning. Can we lay down, next to each other?'' she asked then we heard a lightning strike near us. I covered her with my blanket and hug her after a few minutes she calm down and fell asleep. The rain stopped and she looks peaceful sleeping, so I didn't wake her up. She also gave me a warm hug that help me go back to sleep.

Morning 6:00 am

It's morning and I'm awake, she's still hugging me. Even me, I don't know why I'm feeling like this. I'm thinking deeply about something and I didn't notice that I was staring at her lips the whole time while I'm still embracing her, I was surprised because she woke up and said

''Good morning Sol, why are you looking at my lips? You want to kiss me huh?'' she teased me.

I pushed her away because she's annoying.

She got up on the floor and hit my head and said.

''It hurts Gago ka!''

Then she took a pillow and slapped me hard on the face.

''Are you abnormal Rina?''

I also took one and we had a pillow fight. When the two of us got tired, we just laughed and went out to eat some breakfast.

RINA POV

I had a good sleep but my body aches.

''Sol, help me! My body still hurts because of what you've done.'' I said

''No! You're old, you can do it on your own,'' she responds

I hit her hard on the arms and said

''After you pushed me off the bed you really think my body won't ache this bad?!'' I said aggressively

''hay'' she said and made a one-person lift, it looks like we're a newlywed couple who had a honeymoon then went outside the room.

''What the hell Sol!'' I shouted, she chuckled. Such an annoying person, but someone approached us, it's my cousin Yazmin.

''Ayla? why a sudden visit? You didn't even introduce me to your girlfriend''

Sol laughed hard then I almost fell again, she almost throw me again what a brat.

''Yaz, she's not my girlfriend!''

''Ahh, can you please give me a wheelchair? She doesn't want to walk because her body aches, but she's also getting heavier each second.'' Sol said that made Yazmin laugh

''Rina? Why when I was with you, you never complained to even when your body hurt?''

Yazmin teased me, as always. Then they both laugh which got me more irritated.

''Hay! Sol put me down. You deserve it because you pushed me off the bed! I can walk by myself!''

Sol followed what I said and Yazmin asked us a question

''Wh-What? Did you go to bed together? I thought she's not your girlfriend Ayla?'' Yazmin nervously asked

"Let me explain ok?'' we all laughed and headed to the restaurant

KATE POV

It's my first cousin's visit here to the hotel. This was established last year but she didn't have a visit here. But now she's with another woman? Based on what I see, all I can say is that it's the first time I saw her this happy. Yes, she's a cheerful person but her smile to that woman's really different than the usual smiles she gives to people. We were laughing then we headed to the restaurant they ordered food then we talked.

''I'm sorry that I didn't introduce myself properly, my name's Solara Concepcion Fernandez. But call me Sol instead, I'm Rina's friend, not her girlfriend'' Sol politely said

''haha, I'm Kate Yazmin Alvarez, cousin of Rina and the one who manages this hotel. It's nice to meet you, Sol.''

I smiled and shake hands with her. 'She looks familiar, I think I saw her somewhere.' I said to myself while scanning her face.

''Yaz, why are you intimidating Sol?''

Rina said.

''Are you jealous? Don't worry I have someone right now. I might introduce her to you one of these days'' I said then their eyes grew bigger

''What? A woman?'' Rina asked

"Yes, by the way, the two of you look like a cute couple. Do you like each other?'' Then showed a picture of them dancing they became silent for a moment

''I don't want to interfere but it looks like you like each other, this was caught for the hotel pictures Rina. Court each other, I saw in my beautiful eyes that the two of you are in love. It's alright this will be our secret, just don't let uncle know about it.''

I bluntly said that made the both of them blush. I looked at my watch and said

''I have to go, I'm finished eating and I have a meeting to attend. Nice meeting you Sol, see you guys next time.''

I smiled and packed up my bag, I'm rooting for the two of them.

RINA POV

WHAT HAPPENED? Why did my face turn red? Why am I panicking? Why did Yazmin say that directly? What would be Sol's reaction? I'm getting shy here. After we finished our food

''Rina'' Sol called

''Let's go back to the room,'' she added.

I followed her when we enter the room. I immediately pack up my things, still feeling nervous because of what Yazmin said. While I'm packing Sol said

''Rina'' she said but I was more nervous when she teasingly asked

''Do you like me?'' my heart beats faster, I looked at her and my knees weakened because of what she said

''Ahh, Sol-'' Then the doorbell rang, I opened the door and the staff of the hotel said

''Miss Rina, Miss Kate wants to thank you for coming here to the hotel. She forgot to give you this.''

I received books, a cake, and a letter. How sweet this cousin of mine is, I thanked the one who delivered this and closed the door, and headed back to pack up my things and do my make-up because in an hour we are about to leave. It's a good thing Yazmin's there, I don't know what to answer.

SOL POV

Bad timing, after she finished doing her makeup we went down and rode the car. I just but why do my heart and brain want to hear a 'yes'. She fell asleep, while she's sleeping I turned the radio on, the song played is "If I fall in love''

I sing along with the song, then she woke up.

Then she's watching me sing, but she paid more attention to my lips. Rina, why are you staring at me like that?

That is when I fall in love with you. But here, she also sang the line which made my heart beat fast, she's staring at me that makes me anxious. She always makes the time at a halt whenever I look into her eyes.

But I was disrupted by a loud horn which took me back to a sudden reality. I saw the rearview mirror, lots of cars are in line. I'm causing traffic I immediately pushed the gas and drove fast, I saw Rina laughing at me what a shame.

''You like staring at me huh?''

Rina teased me, I got irritated. I went into another direction which made her panicked

''We are not going home, you're going to stay with me,''

I said that made Rina shocked

''Pardon? I still need to study tomorrow at the university Ms. Fernandez!'' she said

''Then I'll be the one who'll fetch you Ms. Chavez, and there's something I want to tell you,'' I respond.

Rina gasp at what her companion said, when they arrived at Sol's house she asked

''Sol, what do you want to tell me? I had a lot to d-''

Rina stopped talking when Sol held her hands to the secret garden. Rina was astonished by its beauty and they sat down on a bench near a small pretty pond.

''Beautiful,'' Rina said

''Rina, I have a question.''

''What is it, Sol?''

''Your second name is Ayla?'' Sol asked

''Yes, why?'' Rina responded

''Do you remember someone who's lost in a park then you helped the kid and gave her an ice cream and called her Bea-'' Sol paused because Rina answered in shock

''YOU WERE THAT KID WHO WAS LOST IN THE PARK? AND..... YOU'RE A GIRL?!''

''Yes Rina, you were the girl who approached me when I wanted to escape Papa because he's forcing me to come with him to America. Then I ran away until I don't know where the heck am I. Sol answered

"I thought you were a boy because of your hair, you were crying then we roam around and play. I even shared my Ice cream so you won't feel sad." Rina respond

"I remembered you're with another girl?" Sol asked

"That's Yazmin, the one who manages the hotel remember? Heretofore she looks dirty, but she looks a different person now." Rina answered

"That's why she looks familiar," Sol replied, they both laughed then Sol gave Rina tulips, purple lilacs, and a red rose.

"I remember that time, you also gave me roses that you only picked in a garden. We almost got caught by the owner, I built this garden so when the time we meet again. You can pick any flower you want here." Rina hugged Sol as a sign of gratitude, they sat on a bench and talked a lot until the dark of the skies show. A while ago Rina wanted to leave but now she's beside Sol on the bed then she read the letter Kate made.

RINA POV

Ayla,

 Thank you for visiting the hotel, I wish that you enjoyed the ambiance of the place, especially you look in love with those stares at Sol, but she looks like the one who was lost? You call her bear right? She use to look like a boy because of her hair, I also remembered that you said he was your first crush and you said you'll wait for him because he looks handsome and shy but what if she's a girl Rina. By the way, stay safe Rina and you're always welcome here in the hotel, you can come with Sol too! I'm willing to accept the 2 of you here
