I just got home from training 

 

“Jagi?” 

 

“I’m here” I immediately went to our kitchen, she’s cooking, I hugged her from behind

 

“I told you na mag message ka sa akin pag pauwi ka na para nasundo kita”

 

“I don’t want to bother you”

 

“Kailan ka naman naging abala sa akin? Next time magsasabi ka ha? Delikado gabi na”

 

How could I not love this woman?

 

“Jagi, coach Nichkhun wanted me to play for our university this season”

 

“Gusto mo ba?”

 

“Yes…”

 

“Sinabi mo kay coach?”

 

“I told him that I’ll think about it first, he gave me a week to think about it”

 

“If gusto mo talaga then go for it”

 

“You’re going with me?”

 

She didn’t answer

 

“Jagi?”

 

“I-I’m not sure”

 

“Go with me please?”

 

“tutuloy ka ba kung hindi ako sasama?”

 

“I think I won’t survive without you there, I don’t have friends in the Philippines”

“Take your time Jagi” i said 

 

After a week 

 

"Do you really want to play?"

 

"yes"

 

"okay then, I'll go with you"

“Mj kinakabahan na ako malapit na uaap!!!”

 

“Don’t be nervous we trained hard for that, we are more than ready to play”

 

“Sali muna tayo sa tournament? Para hindi ako magulat sa uaap”

 

“Sure”

 

“Mj ang tamlay mo talaga ayos ka lang ba?”

 

“I’m okay, I’m just tired” she went near me and she massaged my shoulders

 

“I’ll cook tteokbokki para mawala pagod mo or may gusto kang iba?”

 

“Tteokbokki” It’s is my comfort food

 

Why is she like this?

 

She’s making it hard for me to not love her more 

 

…

 

“Mj!! Rina will go with us sa tournament, may coach na tayo” 

 

“That’s good”

 

Another day to get hurt

"I'M HOME!!" she's happy  

 

"are you hungry? i cooked"

 

"hindi MJ, kumain na ko kanina, sige kain ka na" i got used to eating alone eversince she started going out with Karina again 

 

She's smiling ear to ear

 

"are you high?"

 

"grabe ka naman sa akin?"

 

"you're weird kasi"

 

"I'm just happy"

 

"why?"

 

"Kami na ni Rina" she said that while smiling ear to ear

 

I know it'll happen but still... it hurts

 

"I'm happy for you" i said 

 

"thank you!!" she said while hugging me

 

'You are okay Minju, as long as she's happy'

 

that's what I always say to myself

 

I'm okay but I will cry it all out later, that's been my routine... crying myself to sleep every single night

“Sino mga kasama mo lagi? Hindi ka na kasi sumasama sa amin, hinahanap ka na nina Gi”

 

“I’m with my classmates”

 

That’s a lie

 

 I’m always alone because I wanted to give way for Karina. I know Min, her attention would get divided if I were there

When I got home I saw Winter sa couch, she looks sad? 

 

"hey, I'm home"

 

"hi, kamusta?"she smiled weakly at me

 

"I'm good"

 

"where have you been?" she asked

 

"I played"

 

"with?"

 

"with random people"

 

"ahh sa badminton center?"

 

"yes" i looked at her "are you okay?"

 

"hindi"

 

I went near her

 

"what happened?"

 

"i think ayaw ni mom kay Rina"

 

"maybe she's just scared to see you get hurt again"

 

"naiintindihan ko naman yun pero sana bigyan niya naman ng chance si Rina"

 

"give her time Min, I'm sure she'll accept your relationship, eventually"

 

"sana nga, MJ. Upo ka dito oh bakit ba ang layo layo mo sakin?"

 

I sat beside her, and she wrapped her arms around me.

 

My heart is beating so fast

 

This is bad 

 

"Min wait" i stood up

 

"bakit?" 

 

"I'm tired I'll go to my room na, Goodnight Min"

 

"ganun ba? sige rest ka na. Good night Mj"

I'm with Minjeong's mom 

 

"tita, i think you should give Karina a chance"

 

"anak, hindi ko na kaya makita na si Minjeong na masaktan"

 

"but she's making your daughter happy po, it's different now, i think they're mature enough to handle their relationship"

 

"how about you? I know you love my daughter" I wasn't shocked when she said that; I knew everyone knew my feelings for Min except Min....

 

"tita there's a reason why I didn't pursue my feelings for her, Minjeong loves Karina, even when we are still in Korea her heart is beating for her"

 

I know she still has a sweet spot for Karina, ate Taeyeon told me stories about Karina before and she told me how close their mother and karina was 

 

"I hope you find the right person for you anak, you're heart is so pure, you deserve the best" I smiled weakly at her 

 

I hope so too

I’m here at the gym, watching Minjeong and Karina play

 

Minjeong asked Karina to help her for a certain shot that she couldn’t do

 

They’re training/ flirting

 

I don’t know why I keep on watching them even if it’s hurting me but at the same time I’m glad because Minjeong is happy… for me that’s enough

 

I know that I made the right decision

 

“Unnie!!!”

 

“Yujin?! What are you doing here?” She’s our friend from Korea but she’s half filipino 

 

“I’m here because I’m your savior” she said while smiling ear to ear

 

“What are you saying?”

 

“Come on Unnie let go of her, two years is enough, please. I’m here to drag you pauwi sa sokor”

 

“Yujin, I’m going home once the uaap ends”

 

“When is that?”

 

“A month, give me a month”

 

“Okay, then I’ll stay here with you”

 

A month

 

To be with her

 

After that I’m done

 

I’m done taking care of her and loving her

 

After that, I’m going home

“Mj sabay tayo papunta ng venue?”

 

“No, Yujin will drive me there”

 

“Okay sige… una na ako ha? Ingat kayo, message mo ko pag nasundo ka na ni Yujin”

“Yujin this is Karina, Rina si Yujin friend namin ni Minju sa korea”

 

“Hello nice to meet you, Yujin” karina said

 

“Nice to meet you too, so are you playing also?”

 

“I play volleyball”

 

“Me too” Yujin answered

“Yes”

 

“Nag aaral siya babe sa KNSU” Min said while wrapping her arms around Karina

 

It hurts 

 

“Excuse us” Yujin said then she dragged me away from the two

 

“Yujin, Karina’s still talking to you”

 

“I don’t care about her, you’re hurting what do you expect me to do?”
