about us.
chai strives to be a safe and comfortable place for all to call home. you can never have enough love, coffee, and tea! We plan on encouraging activity and a sense of community through bi-weekly games, monthly events, and a stampcard system that rewards activity. we want to become a stable place that will last.

rules.
one. this is a closed semi- roleplay. we allow slight mature themes and ask that all faceclaims be born in the year 2002 or before and only interact with fellow patrons of chai.
two. we are only accepting faceclaims within the asian industry with a verified date of birth. any instagram models or influencers must have at least 100k followers on any social media platform.
three. only one account per patron. if it is discovered that a member has more than one account, all accounts will be removed from chai.
four. the first character change is allowed whenever you desire. any following character changes will have a two-week cooldown. Temporary character changes will only be available through our rewards system!
five. be active! a roleplay can only survive with activity from its members. we require every patron to post once every three days, with a warning from base on the fourth day.
six. if you are kicked out for inactivity, there will be a 48 hour ban on rejoinng as the same faceclaim. you may, however, return immediately as a different claim. if you ever are locked out of your account or your account gets disabled, you have 24 hours to reach out to our aff, base, or any admin to announce your return. we will assume you have left the roleplay if there is no message.
seven. hiatuses and semi-hiatuses can be requested after a week of arrival (with case-by-case exceptions). a hiatus lasts up to two weeks, and a semi-hiatus can last up to a month given our patrons post at least once a week.
eight. cliques and friend groups are inevitable, but please try to welcome and interact with everyone. we reward those who public interact with patrons in the comments of their posts.
nine. there is a two-week dating ban upon entering the roleplay. move-in couples are allowed! please be sure to include this in your application.
ten. please try to keep all public posts and public interactions IC. all matters ooc should be discussed in private and, if needed, brought to base for further help or guidance. do not let problems from past roleplays escalate. if need be, alert base and unfollow/mute/block the individual.
eleven. please inform base if you are leaving chai. those who leave without informing base are meanie weenies. the password is your favorite food + drink combo.
