i'm not against multidating, though i don't know if it's just me but i just find it too bothersome when a certain ship is more favored than the other. for instance, if my partner has other ships that they give more time to. and they're just.. unable to make time for our ship and yet they're focused on others that they favor the most. it hurts, and when you confront them about it. they lie and tell you they're busy with ooc stuff when in the end you see them somewhere else active asf.

tldr; my whole point here is if you don't know how to balance your ships or make time for them equally, don't bother multidating at all.

i get that each place is a different 'world', different persona but when i think of it; as someone who has multidated before, my experience was there's always that favorite partner, the one you spend more time with in my multi relationships. imho, it's kind of a lie that you treat the people you date fairly. deep inside, you have your favorite person. which leads me to...not considering multidating anymore. it felt so unfair to the people i dated before at once.

im fine with the idea of multidating, as long as both persons know how to make time and give fair attention to those they are dating. But if one person wants me to stop dating other people, then ill do it. As long as they wpuld do the same and be loyal to me. I just happen to know someone who made someone stop seeing other people but in the end they hid from their partner that they are still flirting with other people, seeing someone else behind their back...basically cheating on them. It's just unfair.

A friendly tip: Before you multidate, make sure to inform your roleplay partner/s or put in your flrp ad (if ever you are in a freelance rp) that you multidate, and you have the balls to prioritise them.

I just dislike people who just ghost without saying goodbye and you will see them in another roleplay or in another rp partner. What's worst, you might see them rping with your rp friends.

That's all. Tysm ^^

personally, multidating leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

it's not because of multidating itself. sadly old friends i've met who dated multidaters uses multidating as a leeway to try and justify their problematic behavior and causing ooc dramas. it's safe to say their moves are disappointing.

starting with myself.

i have no issues with multidating, i too multidate, but don't find people I vibe with often so i do and i don't. i'm okay with my partners multidating as well provided they give equal priority and not leave me out. at the end of the day roleplay is roleplay, it's not that deep, if it's an escape, let it be an escape.

i've been in situations where i was both neglected and equally(maybe not equally but more or less) priotitized by my partners who multidated.

i know that knowing that your partners have someone else other than you can make you insecure but i just avoid places where i know my partner and their other s/o are at, for partners who aren't as open, if I happen to meet them and their other s/o in another rp, i leave if I have a feeling it's them. the rpw is a small place. which also makes me wonder about how open are people with their partners ooc. ik ic is ic and i go by different rp, different muse, different universe but like are people actually open enough to share about how they're in other roleplays or if they freelance or if they have other partners etc. i usually am depending on the partner's openness now because people have used it against me even when my muse happened to be dating only their muse and nothing changed, not in the way my muse treated theirs or the amount of time given to them.

overall, i think I'm leaning more towards it's okay to multidate if you set your priorities straight but don't mulitdate if you're a d!ck and are going to be selective.
