She still wasn't sure if this was the right thing to do, but it had been too late to turn back now. She stepped into the shop, waved to who might or might not be the pawn shop owner and asked one question "How much can I get for this engagement ring?" Seulrene

Chapter 1: tears were shed! joohyun's reaction is pretty understandable, even if the photos were doctored it just shows the lengths seulgi's mom will go to to interfere with their relationship. relieved for the happy ending, they are so sweet together 🥹

Chapter 1: It's a pretty valid reason for selling your engagement ring. I mean one of the many reasons marriages fail at times are because of the in-laws, in this case, Joohyun's future mother-in-law.
I thought that was a bit extreme where mother Kang photoshopped some photos to make Joohyun want to leave Seulgi.
But then I guess it was also Seulgi's wake up call to choose between her mom and Joohyun. As she was about to lose the love of her life all because her mom doesn't approve of anyone for her

Chapter 1: I could only imagine how exhausting and frustrating it was for both of them. Glad they were able to work it out and still got their happy ending.. Tho it was an open ending story, i am hoping they did get their happy ending :D thanks for this author-nim!
