Description

This story is one of two women. They’d been soldiers. Years before one became a ruler and the other fought for the entertainment of others.

Some could have argued that they would have always become that. They wouldn’t have been able to know what happened after. At least not for one of them.

Foreword

It's set in the times of Ancient Rome, but a version of it where just as many women would fight in the wars as men, where you could have a female empress, and all in all very much my fantastical version of Ancient Rome. I tried to be historically accurate otherwise, but that's not quite the focus of this story. 

Really hope you enjoy this story in spite of the historical inaccuracies.
