Look up, and you’ll see stars gleaming within the dark.

Whether the stars on the night sky or on the stage, people always admire them for their beauty and want to see them, touch them, be around them—even though those stars went through a lot of things before they could truly shine.

Just like the stars in the night sky that were once dust, shaped by immense pressure and gravity that make them what they are—idols are no different. So many people want to become stars, but only a small percentage make it to debut. And just like the billions of stars in the universe, only a select few can shine bright.

K-OS follows the story of hopeful, young teenagers trying to make their dreams come true. Forming friendships with fellow trainees knowing not everyone can make it, and struggling to balance between teamwork and fighting for that special spot in the debut team. Of course, the boys of K-OS aren’t signing up to play some lighthearted game.

Even if they manage to get past the high standards of a debuted idol, their challenges only get harder. Some have to balance their education with hectic schedules, or even leave their relationships and friendships behind. Because once you become an idol, no one actually cares about your feelings no matter how hard you work—sometimes not even the people around you.

But for the ones who managed to stay on top, they were strong enough to overcome the obstacles that made them what they are today.

And for these boys, what could those challenges be?
