Karina and I talked the whole time. She didn't pick up her phone once and neither did I. It almost was like a..date, I don't know. Our eyes didn't leave each other's as we talked and laughed. I said something that almost made her spit out her coke all over the table.

When our food came, the talking came to a minimum. The food was really good, better than I remembered.

"Oh!" she suddenly started as something must of popped into her mind. "I'm like half way through with your book." she said and my eyes opened wide.

"Already?" I asked, shocked. She nodded, flipping her hair in a proud manner.

"I told you I'm a fast reader." she said smirking. I watched as she eat her food so neatly and I wondered if that's how she always is or if she's trying to be so neat, but around me? no way. I'm trying to be neat so I don't spill on her clothes.

"Do you like it?" I asked and she nodded, swallowing her food before talking.

"Yeah, it's really good." she answered and I'm glad she likes it.

After a little bit longer, we finished eating. Like actually finished, we both ate our whole meal. "Excuse me, I'm going to the bathroom quick."

"Okay." 

I stood up, taking my wallet and phone with me as I tried not to make it obvious. Instead of going to the bathroom, I went up to the front where you have the option to pay as you're walking out. I told the lady what we ate and drank. She handed me a check and paid the bill, handing her the right around of money. I know Karina is going to kill me but she can leave the tip. I then thanked the lady after that.

I walked back to the table, sitting down and putting my phone on the table. I smiled innocently at her, knowing she's going to scream at me when she knows what I did.

"What?" she asked, confused. She took out her small purse, expecting the check to come soon. I giggled, covering my mouth with my fingers. "What did you do?" she turned her head slightly, raising an eyebrow.

“Okay, don't scream at me." I warned her first of all. I can see the look on her face like she's scared of what I'm going to say and confused. I laughed again, looking down at the table.

"Winter tell meee." she whined, pouting at me. I took a deep breath, trying to stop my quiet laughter and red face.

"I didn't go to the bathroom.." as soon as i said that her jaw dropped and she hit the table on instinct, making a loud nose. I turned my head to the window, covering my mouth so I don't laugh out loud.

"Tell me you didn't pay the bill." she said, giving me a serious look. I raised my eyebrows.

“Alright, I won't tell you.." I said and she gave me a death stare. "I know you want to scream so just wait until we go outside. You can leave the tip." I continued, smiling at her. She pulled out some money for the tip and left it on the table.

We both stood up and she grabbed my arm, pulling me through the restaurant. I giggled silently to myself, ready to never hear the end of this. She does have more money than me, in general. I mean look at how different our houses are, but I wanted to pay. I really did.

We thanked the lady at the front desk and she burst out the doors. Once we got to the car, she turned around, letting go of my arm. "I told you I was going to pay!" she said loudly, making me jump a little.

"It's okay, I wanted to." I said as she puffed out her bottom lip.

"But I wanted to too." she whined. I shrugged, basically telling her it's too late.

"I know it was your idea to go and you had the whole plan to pay but..after seeing that Soobin made you upset, I wanted to do something nice. Make you happy." I told her, blushing hardcore. Her eyes became soft at me as I also noticed they filled with heavy tears. Is she gonna cry??

"Winter you didn't need to pay to make me happy. You make me happy. Being with you and talking to you is what made me happy. I wanted to take you out and pay because you've been nothing but nice to me ever since I met you and you've made me happier than anyone else has in a long time." she said, a tear rolling down her face. She wiped it away and I let out a "heh", trying to hide how shocked I am. What I would do kiss this girl right now.

“Wow, I um.. I'm glad I make you happy." I said, lost of words. I make her that happy. That happy where she just ranted to me about how much and almost started crying.

She quickly pulled me in for a big hug. I rested my head on her shoulder and circled my small arms around her waist as she wrapped her arms around my neck and squeezed me gently. "Thank you, for everything." She mumbled, not letting go of me what so ever.

I smiled into her neck, my arms resting comfortably around her back. We finally pulled away slowly and our eyes met as soon as they are able to. Our faces are close, closer than they've ever been. I felt my breathing hitched as neither of us moved. But then she slowly moved her head back, smiling lightly at me. I did the same.

"You can pay next time." I told her. She nodded quickly, grabbing her purse off the trunk of the car.

"I'm already planning on it." she said as she walked over to get in the passenger seat. I unlock the car, and we both got in. I started the car, putting my seatbelt on. "I appreciate you caring about my relationship with Soobin and trying to bring my mood up. It works every time." She said beside me.

"I hate the way he's making you feel. I couldn't imagine treating my girlfriend like he treats his. And you, you're so much more than what people see you as." I explained to her. "They just don't know you well enough to see how perfect you are."

Her eyes widen in a bit of shock as I said that. "P-perfect?" she asked, almost like she didn't hear me before. I nodded my head.

“Easily the most perfect." I answered. She didn't say anything after, she just sat back and stared out her window. I started to drive to her house to drop her off.

The car ride was silent, but a comfortably silence. The radio was playing low and every once and a while I would look over at her. She would notice me looking and look at me. I'd look away quick, focusing back on the road.

Finally I pulled into her driveway, unlocking the doors. We look at each other and I just play with my fingers on my lap. "Thank you." I said, smiling shyly.

"No, thank you. I had so much fun."

"Me too!" I nodded, biting the inside of my lip. She kept her eyes on me as she leaned in closer to my face. I froze, watching her as she got closer and closer.

I closed my eyes slightly as I felt her soft lips touched my cheek. When I tell you I felt like I was going to pass out from turning so red, I'm not joking. She pulled away from my cheek, slowly backing away from my face. "Text me tomorrow." she smiled.

"I will. Call me if you need me." I said quickly as she stepped out of the car. She nodded, waving shyly at me. I did the same as she shut my car door.

I feel like I've just had the best day of my entire life. Nothing about this day wasn't perfect. I was even with a perfect girl which made my day even better. I like her. Dammit, I like her a lot. Soobin doesn't deserve such a beautiful, sweet girl like her. He's a douchebag.

I drove home, excited to tell my mom about my day. It's sort of late but she's up, probably watching tv in her room. I got home and went inside, taking off my shoes. I threw my keys on the dining table and made my way upstairs. I knocked on my moms bedroom door and I heard a faint "come in" so I opened the door.
