Chapter 2: I was giggling like an idiot while reading the first chapter because Donghae is just too adorable to resist. Hyukjae is truly a good-hearted person who cares about Donghae even if he knows nothing about him (seriously Donghae could be a scary merman like those in the myths and Hyukjae might cost his life even but well it'll be another story to be told haha)
And you make me cry a mess for the second chapter. It's so heartbreaking watching the love of your life, the person you trust and rely on walks away from you ಥ⁠_⁠ಥ

(I just wonder what Donghae was eating before he met Hyukjae since he doesn't eat seafood and there was no Hyukjae to feed him either 🤔 And he can breathe in water so why he struggled when Hyukjae shoved him into water the first time they met. He cannot be drowned, right? Ahh it's just my silly thoughts anw don't mind me (⁠；⁠^⁠ω⁠^⁠）

Chapter 2: This fic is so sweet, adorable and different. merman-Hae stole my heart. I really loved the idea and the realism of this story. Chapter 2: The plot is simple but the situation and the feelings involved are everything! I liked how this wasn't unnecessarily dramatic, without mad scientists, savage mermaids and mermen, a complicated career, friends against them or Donghae being spotted by others unexpectedly; no triggering situations pressuring Hyukjae. The decision was only his. And of course I'm so glad he chose to follow his heart T-T
