Description

A faint red light greets Wendy when she opens her dorm room, the string tangled in under the bed sheets, the legs of a chair and then around the study table, until it falls past straight to her feet. The string moves as lithe arms wrap around her, the familiar scent of lavander invading her senses.

I honestly dom't know what to say.

It's been so long since I had to reread a sentence—a paragraph—just to understand thing, over and over again. Then again, Englush isn't my mother tongue so...



Truthfully, I still don't. I still felt like I'm missing something. I honestly can't comprehend if this is an open-ended ending, a haddpy ending, or a sad one; maybe that's the point.



But you made me cry.



I don't know why. But seeing those bold, italics words just made me cry. I can't understand myself sometimes. It was...for the lack of better terms...wonderful. It made feel a lot of things. And made me realise that it's one—almost two o' clock in the morning I have to sleep.

Chapter 1: I'm a true believer that soulmate does exist, but I also believe that in one of our lives, we get to choose who's gonna ended up at the end of our strings. Wendy get to see it, people's fate, but some people, even when they get brought right in front of their supposed-to-be soulmate, they won't choose that person. Cause human desire are so big, they can move a mountain, they also can cut the red string of fate and tie it to someone else.

I believe, this Wendy should stop counting down the time and start make believe her own fate.
