Fixing You UpSeulgi walked into her classroom the next day, finding students gathered by her desk. Which was surprising, actually, since there wasn’t really anything special with her desk in particular.
It gave her a mini heart attack. Did someone stick a piece of chewing gum smack dab on te middle of her desk A booger? Melted chocolate? Black ink? A death threat?
Seulgi cleared , and the group of gossiping students scattered, making space for her to see what the commotion was all about.
Alas, on her desk was not a piece of gum, nor was it a disgusting booger, melted chocolate, spilled black ink or a death threat.
It was a pink sticky note.
Seulgi sighed and placed her bag over it, causing the students to gasp. She looked at them quizzically. What was so special about the paper?
She swiftly grabbed the pink note and read the neat scribbles written on it.
“Good morning! Thank you for yesterday. I feel like I already learned so much. See you later! Do you want tteokbokki? I’ll text you later, promise~”
And it was signed grandly at the bottom: Bae Joohyun.
Seulgi couldn’t help but roll her eyes. Some grand gesture of thanks that was. But at the same time she couldn’t stifle the small smile that formed on her face. It was pretty… nice of her. Although Seulgi thought it was a waste of pretty paper, but honestly, that was nothing to Joohyun, being rich and savvy Bae Joohyun.
“You are definitely on the in list,” someone from behind Seulgi said. She turned and found Moonbyul standing there with her arms crossed. “Care to explain?”
Seulgi started preparing for their first class. “All I did was tutor her. And what even is the in list?”
It might sound stupid. High school was usually that time where students cared about popularity, friendship and love; and made reckless decisions that could very much affect their social standing until they grew up.
Mirae University had a popularity rank for each batch that was finalized monthly.
