Description

Kkoong is Taemin's new pet cat, and she brings joy into his ever-so lonely life. This newfound joy, however, is put to a test when she escapes—colliding his world with that of stranger who's just as lonesome. (Originally written for Summer of SHINee Round 3 on AO3!)

Prompt Summary: Taemin panics when he loses kkoong for days. It turns out the cat was found by a stranger named Kibum who had no choice but to bring kkoong home for the cat’s safety.

 

 

Hello everyone! I'm back writing taekey for Summer of SHINee, and as always I enjoyed my participation! I love writing for taekey so much and this fest is always a great opportunity for me to challenge myself. This prompt caught my attention as soon as I read it because I'm a er for the trope! But this is my first time writing taekey in such a way that the two hardly interact, and I hope you can all appreciate the little story I came up with despite that fact! It seems that Kkoong knows where to find the right partner for Tae. I found it so funny when Kibum immediately got the cat as the big thunder roared. 😁

Chapter 1: I live for this cliche meeting!
This was so soft and sweet ㅠ Kkoong was literally the fate of these two.
I can feel Taemin here, I too would have panicked if my cat got lost for more than 24 hours, she would be terrified.
And I liked that Kkoong gave Kibum's life a U-turn. It's an experience that definitely makes you forget your ex lol (and more if you meet a guy like Taemin)

I'm thankful you shared this taekey fanfic. you did a great job and my taekey heart is full again.
