Our RANT

Description

We just have to get a few things off our chest. its getting kinda annoying.

Foreword

Sad how some people don't know how to act decently towards others.
Roleplay should be fun and less stressful but instead people like me still have to deal with a narrow minded, MEAN (for no reason), arrogant, & just a complete roleplayer. I miss the good old days where everyone is here for fun and making good friends— yes, 2013-2015 RP was less toxic than it is now. It’s quite sad that I have to experience toxicity in a roleplay just because they can't act accordingly and on top of that, since they have so much time on their hands— They just have to ruin the IDOLS image for you. I can’t even stand being in a roleplay nowadays because of how people act. There are a few idols that I can’t even look at the same without feeling bitter just because I had some experience from another roleplayer who used that idol as their muse. Like, how do you even go on your day without feeling a slight ounce of guilt or at least try to take a step back and reflect. I don't know if behaving like this in a roleplay is a CONCEPT or what… because if it is… just CUT IT OUT!
It’s not even cool, in fact it's sad seeing some of you behave like that— are you that sad of a person and mad at the world? Like chill out for a second, no one wants to be in a roleplay and later be acquainted with a person like that. You’re not only ruining it for others but you are also disrespecting the idol’s image.
How would you feel if you are an idol and being portrayed like that? Isn’t that just so disrespectful? It’s already weird as it is that you are being roleplayed to begin with.
I can only understand if you act way out of the idol’s personality if you’re in an AU-RP or if you're a FREELANCE.

It knowing that there are still some half-decent people out there who are clearly in their heads. Like, wake tf up. It's a roleplay, and you're roleplaying an IDOL. a real-life idol..so act like it. You're not the idol, but you can get a sense of how they'd act if they weren't on camera, because god knows what they're like off camera (unless it's an au-based rp or yall are plotting). Even so, just be decent. Stop ruining people's rp experiences, the rp itself, and most importantly, STOP ruining the idols' image to the extent of making us feel uncomfortable watching the idol him/herself.. like...bro..what? Some roleplayers are becoming toxic and blatantly indecent, and I have to agree. Some people use roleplaying to pass time, meet friends, and have a good time, you know? Don't spoil it for them...not only do they have to deal with these types of individuals in real life, but they also have to deal with them in rps. It's just stressful...wow.So stop okay? Just stop, We've had enough. If you're thinking to yourself, "Oh, I can't be nice..I'm rping as ____, so I have to give off this bad boy/bad b*tch vibe," then screw it.Stop using the idols as an excuse to act like a mf b!cth. That's not IT. Be a douche somewhere else. Shame on you and the way you're portraying a respectable idol.

If you can't be nice, at least try to be decent.

Have a nice day.

To me there's being mean/rude and starting drama, and then there's 'being mean done right.' You know, to spice up the character but are never out of line, or go around starting drama, I don't mind that. In fact those rpers are fun to me.
I notice it's usually the rpers who act high and mighty and are only there for popularity points that end up ruining it for some people, or destroy an entire freaking rp (even if it was the ones that seemed nice) think about it: when has an admin ever kicked out a popular dramatic person (wo having the rp destroyed), but has no problem kicking an unpopular dramatic person.
This type of stuff did happen back then too, but not nearly as much...
Don't even rp anymore because it gives me such bad anxiety, or just makes me downright depressed.
Another thought, rp has always hid behind this motto of being an escape from reality, that it makes people forget that you can still reeeeallly hurt the actual person behind the screen. Sad thing is none of us have to accept responsibility for what we do to somebody bc we can just leave.
Anyway... agreed

exactly like... there are literally rules in places about decency. say we really don't know who our fcs personally but atleast be proper towards other people? personal xp: i've been told a lot that i can't take a joke but the last time i checked, jokes are funny? jokes aren't offensive?

some roleplayers bring their real time *hatred* towards this group/idol and it just doesn't really sit in places haha. how i wish we can all go back but it's sad to know that it's impossible.

I can't agree with this any more than I already do. Ugh, so sick of how ty people act these days in rps. Its literally no longer the same and I hate it.

i kinda agree on some points haha other people really ruin some idol's image and no one knows if they're doing it intentionally or not. Kinda miss 2017 era where most of the rpers really can roleplay lol
