Kai PoV

 

Her voice was not laced out of curiosity. It was also not the type of a raising intonation question, it was more of a falling. Like a yes or no answer wouldn't suffice.

Lee Taeyong.

I tried recalling the name but it just won't ring a bell on me.

I don't know the person she's talking about.

"I'm sorry, I don't know anyone whose name is Lee Taeyong." I politely answered. I tried to lift my head and mustered up my courage to look at her in the eye. I was quite shocked when I saw that she's looking at me already with lack of emotion on her face.

But, I can see that she's anticipating something upon hearing my answer. As if she's trying to read me more but couldn't get anything.
 

"Uh, Kai hyung. I'll call you hyung from now on, Can I?" Mark's cheerful voice made me removed my eyes to Seulgi.

I don't know if Mark really wanted to tell me that, or just said it to ease the tension between me and their Queen. Every one's exchanges of glances didn't escape my eyes. It was like, they're not believing my answer either.

But it's true, and I'm not lying.

I don't know a person named Lee Taeyong.

"Sure, you can." I gave him a genuine smile and continue eating.
 

"Cool, I have another cool hyung from now on." Mark praised.
 

"Yah, Am I included to that list of cool hyung that you're talking about?" Johnny asked Mark as if trying to get an answer that will feed his ego.
 

"No, You can't hack right? So it's a no." Mark answered quickly.
 

Mark's answer brought laugh in our table. Even the Queen, chuckled a bit. I tried to hold my laugh that it ended up as a chuckle.

"Yah, Kai, you're laughing at me? How could you?" Johnny dramatically said. The laugh that I was holding came out as expected. My first ever genuine laugh in a while.
 

"I can teach you how, just come to me." I offered that made him shook his head.

"No, don't ever. The last time I checked, we nearly got caught by the police when he tried to hack the social media account of a famous actor." Joy narrated wide-eyed.
 

"Imagine, it was just a simple instagram account and he already messed up. How much more?" Mark added.
 

"Atleast, I tried." Johnny simply replied while shrugging.

 

I remember, I started with that phase too. It was the first one that my mentor has ever taught me. He told me to hack an account of a famous celebrity then post a humiliating image on it. I guess, hacker do start on that first step.

"Oh I remember, Seulgi. Is he gonna stay to the room he's using now or what?" Taeil asked while munching his food.
 

"Is someone using that room? Don't worry, I can just use the sofa in the living room." I answered with a convincing smile. It's not like I'm a thick-faced person to continuously occupy that room. I'm already in debt to them by using the clothes in the closet.

"Hyung, we have a lot of unoccupied rooms in here." Mark said that made them laugh. When I said them, Seulgi wasn't included. Irene just smiled a bit but the rest, they laughed as if I'm suggesting a very crazy idea.

"Besides, you're now part of us right Seulgi noona?" Mark threw out a sudden question that made me swallowed the food that I'm currently chewing.
