The Wedding Date
Description
Daisy and Jin are best friends/co-workers/ foodie buddies /day trip and staycation takers.
Jin's twin sister Jandi is getting married and he desperately needs a date to her destination wedding in Bali, Indonesia in three months.
To keep his meddling mother, aunts and female cousins at bay he's going to ask his very beautiful bff to pretend to be his girlfriend.
He has come up with what he thinks is the perfect plan.
How can she refuse? It's a free vacation to a tropical island, literally.
The only problem is he doesn't need to pretend to be in love with Daisy because he's been in love with her since they met seven years ago at orientation.
It's one week in paradise what could go wrong?

Foreword
"Go with you where and do what?" She shrieks.
I roll my eyes, she's such a drama queen sometimes.
"To Bali to Jandi's wedding and pretend that we're dating."
"That's too long of a flight Jin, I'd literally would have to be drugged."
"And besides your mother would see through that lie, because all I have ever seen you date are white, skinny, blonde haired, blue eyed, dingbats. How you go from that to a curvy black woman?"
"A curvy black woman with natural hair, purple natural hair at that."
"I've never even seen you with an Asian woman let a black one".
I roll my eyes, she's does have a point.
"We'd have to convince them that's all."
"How? When I won't be there because the answer is double no!"
"C'mon Daisy, help a brother out." I plead.
She snorts. "A brother? Boy bye!"
"I'd love to help you out, but four hours on a plane is my max and you know this."
She turns and walks back to her desk.
I sign and look at her.
She's making this unnecessarily difficult, it's a good thing I have two months to help her change her mind.
