The plastic shopping bags crinkle against the seat next to Yoongi as the bus trundles along. There’s technically a convenience store within walking distance of their apartment, but Namjoon and Yoongi had both agreed that there just wasn’t enough stock there to satisfy their ‘diverse’ tastes...and Yoongi is a little spoiled and hates cheap kimchi, which definitely contributes.

So, they’d taken the bus to the closest supermarket instead to do their weekly shopping – and now they were on their way back, having successfully depleted their bank accounts on snacks and unnecessarily expensive packet ramen (yes, Yoongi’s bitter).

He welcomes the momentary peace to check his phone though – which of course means eventually drifting back to scrolling the study blog like some kind of obsessive creep. In his defence, he’s been trying to reach the very end of the posts to see once and for all if the owner of the blog had ever uploaded a photo of himself, just for curiosity’s sake. Yoongi’s come too far now and he’s not about to stop.

Namjoon snickers behind him, probably laughing at some meme or something that Kim Seokjin has said. Yoongi pays it no mind.
