established in 1999, crixia institute of mystic arts, shortened to cima, is the second wizarding school to open its doors to magical students from the eastern countries. it welcomes young magic wielders from various different backgrounds and ethnicities. the institution was founded and funded by the great four of the east, wang huan from china, seo jihye of korea, horikawa takehiko who hails from japan, and somchai horvejkul, born of thailand.

something that sets the school apart from others is the specialised classes, only available to be taught in cima, where they teach students the wandless magic and art of manipulating the four elements, also known as elemental bending. the school is located on an island built by the founders far south of japan. it is only accessible to students and faculty by boat.

one (1) character per person. if you are caught having double accounts, you will be dismissed as soon as possible.

character change intervals are five (5) days. temporary character changes are not allowed to avoid confusion.

the timeline is pg-16 and trigger warnings should be included when posting content, like violence, abuse, etc. nothing ual on timeline.

this is a semi-literate roleplay, literate is welcome but not required! this means there is no pressure for heavy literate threads and students are allowed to roleplay casually, even with one-liners (but still within character). Usage of emojis, memes and anything of the sort are strictly not allowed as we are a semi-lit roleplay. 

please do not faceclaim those who are going through controversies and those who do not wish to be roleplayed.

no face chasing, ooc drama, cliques, and biased replies allowed. if there are any concerns with this, please inform the base account.

you have to reach 40 tweets within the first 48 hours or you will be unverified.

the username format is [fc name]cima or cima[fc name]. please don’t use capital letters or numbers in your username.

inactivity for 5 days, warning at the beginning of the 5th day and if you don’t reply within 24 hours, you will be unverified.

Hiatus lasts for two (2) weeks, while semi-hiatus lasts for only one (1) week.

Godmodding (controlling another person’s character) or metagaming (using knowledge not available to your character to change how they are rped and gain an advantage) is strictly prohibited.

Plotting can be done in messages. Keep out of character talk on timeline in brackets or use any other symbol to indicate being out of character - ( ) [ ] { }

Two (2) strikes for roleplay rules violation in general. On the 3RD strike, you will be kicked out of the roleplay.

If you have student problems or any conflict with your fellow students, please dm base and we will sort out the problem as best as we can.

If the roleplayers have any problems with how the place is being run or anything else, please message base. Suggestions for events and other cool features are welcome! We want to improve if anything is wrong and make the place as welcoming as possible.

Faceclaims of any age are allowed. Muns can age down their characters but not age up. Please be careful in your portrayal of minor faceclaims.

Blacklisted faceclaims will not be accepted, this includes controversial idols and those who do not wish to be roleplayed.

We accept all Asian faceclaims as long as they are part of the entertainment industry.

The roleplay’s timezone is in KST (Korean Standard Time), but you may roleplay any part of that day. (ex. It’s currently 2am in Korea, but you can roleplay your scene at 6pm in the school if you choose to do so.)

OC names are highly encouraged. (pw: what is your desired pillar? seo, huan, horikawa, or som?)

Pregnancy and children are not allowed.

Minor and of age relationships of any kind (in-character or of your faceclaims) will not be tolerated here in CIMA. (ex. Mark x Wonyoung, Jaemin x Yuna, etc.) Couples may discuss the ages of their characters so as to not break this rule. Of age faceclaims cannot be aged down to become minors to match their partners' ages in this case.

faceclaims who are 18 years old should only have an maximum of 3 years with their partner. ex. someone born in 2003 cannot be romantically involved with someone born in 1999 because of 4-year . please remember that fcs that have not yet turned 18 are considered minors and should not be depicted as having romantic relationships with adults.

No race-bending. This means you cannot alter or change the race of your faceclaim.

oC Character names should appropriately reflect their backgrounds, which means we expect for your OCs to have Korean names. Exceptions include adoption, (re)marriage, and divorce, but must be explained in their biography.

If your character is born outside of South Korea, they may be given a name that is native to the country they were born in. The reasoning for this choice must be clearly stated in their biography. Please be respectful and considerate when selecting a name in this manner.

We understand that there is a difference between IC and OOC, however, remember to please be respectful and civil. You are the typist and you can still dictate your character’s actions.
