KQ started to send out trainees to survival shows in 2018, starting out with some girls on Produce 48 in the same year Ateez debuted. These trainees were dubbed KQ next and were competing to get a shot at being in KQ's new groups. One group of KQ next trainees began to stand out pretty quick. Two girls on produce 48 and one boy on produce x 101. Insanely talented, all with different backgrounds, and not really fitting the perfect idol mold. They dubbed themselves KQ Next://Cherry, but everyone just called them the cherries.

Soon enough, the cherries unit doubled in numbers, with a foreign idol spontaneously adopting the group and two produce x 101 trainees also being picked up. At first, KQ didnt have any plans to debut them, but they were popular amongst the fans, so a plan started brooding. A 6 membered co-ed group with an eccentric and over the top weird concept that fit them perfectly. The cherries were going intergalactic, and they became cherry://lactic. They might be Ateez' juniors, they certainly aren't little.

04: Please do comment once every few chapters at least if you got a character in the story. If you have a reason to not comment like you're on hiatus or something, dm me beforehand, please! That way I know to not have your character leave the group or smth. Yes, there will be purging if you go inactive without a word.
