It's 1995 and Kyungsoo Do has scored the gig of a lifetime: following up-and-coming Indie band TACTIX on a nationwide summer tour. He's sure this will get him one foot in the door to Rolling Stone and becoming the rock Journalist legend he's always dreamt of becoming. When an emergency occurs and he's forced to go back home to South Korea, he enlists the help of his best friend, and roommate, aspiring investigative journalist Sehun Oh to take his place for him.

It's supposed to be simple, Sehun just needs to follow the rules, ask his questions, and write an explosive article, and it is... until it isn't. TACTIX's lead guitarist, Kai, enchants all that come across him, quiet, mysterious, and good-looking. Sehun finds himself bewitched by a side of Kai that isn't typically shown to the public.
