Chapter 1: Oh wow, this was AMAZING!! Even though so much time passed, I didn't feel like I was missing a part of the story. Everything that was important was laid out. That's actually a very strong skill that many writers fail to do, especially when they don't have much experience.
I was also really hoping for a different ending, but I can't be mad at this one, because not only is no one at fault, it's completely plausible. Part of me is just really sad about it, though.
