The Next Day

At Eunwon Apartment

Eunseo was eating a bowl of cereal in the kitchen with Dawon in front of her.

“So..” Dawon started to talk.

“Hmm?” Eunseo stuffed with the cereal.

“What happened last night?”

“Hmm..”

“Eunseo..”

“Yes?”

“What happened last night???” Dawon was so curious. She wanted to know.

Eunseo then scratched her hair, didn’t know how to explain. But then two arms were wrapped around her neck.

“Good morning.” The girl smiled and kissed Eunseo on the cheek.

Dawon was staring widely at them.

“Morning.” Eunseo smiled as she looked up at the person behind her. Bona was wearing Eunseo’s loose long shirt.

“OH MY GOD! Did you do it last night??!!” Dawon whispered to Eunseo.

“I heard that.” Bona smiled as she took a seat on the stool beside Eunseo.

Eunseo decided to ignore Dawon’s question as she just stared at her bowl.

“What time is your class today?” Bona said softly with a hand on Eunseo’s lap.

“9.” Eunseo said shyly. She was shy because her roommate was staring at her, waiting for an explanation.

“I’ll send you to class okay.” Bona rubbed Eunseo’s lap.

“Okay.”

“Hmm Eunseo.. Can I talk to you for a while?” Dawon interrupted the couple.

“Huh y-yes?”

“At the living room, now.” Dawon said, standing up from the stool.

“Huh? A-about what??” Eunseo looked at her. Dawon was already on her way to the living room.

“LIVING ROOM NOWWW!” She shouted from the living room.

“I’ll be back..” She said to Bona.

“Baby..” Bona grabbed Eunseo’s wrist. “Come here.” She said seductively.

“Hmm?” Eunseo innocently went closer to Bona.

“Last night was amazing..” Bona whispered before she kissed Eunseo on the lips.

“Hmm.. well you were amaz-”

“SON EUNSEOO!!!”

“I’ll be right backkk!” Eunseo quickly ran to the living room.

Bona was smiling all the time. She was holding her phone as she decided to switch it on.

At the Living Room

“What’s with the face?” Eunseo asked Dawon as she took a seat on the couch.

“Hey.. Are you out of your mind??!!”

“What?”

“She’s still engaged for God’s sake!”

“I know!! I couldn’t help it!!!” Eunseo ruffled her hair.

“At least, you should wait for her to call it off with the guy!!” Dawon exclaimed.

“I know right..” Eunseo mumbled.

“I just don’t want you to get hurt..” Dawon said calmly.

“She said she’ll break it off today.”

“Hmm.. she better does! If not, I want you to stay away from her!!” Dawon snapped.

Last Night

“Please, try to understand me..” A tear fell down on Bona’s cheek. “I need time. I really need time.”

“I do understand you Bona.” Eunseo said. “But I’m not going to be around forever waiting for you.”

“...”

“You really have to make up your mind.” Eunseo said in English. She was putting some sense in Bona’s head.

“...”

“If not, we should just move on. I don’t want to get myself hurt.” Eunseo said seriously. “And I don’t want to be a home wrecker.”

“Loving someone who is in a relationship doesn’t make you a home wrecker” Bona mumbled.

“But acting on it does!!” Eunseo exclaimed. “We can’t help who we fell for, Bona.” Eunseo said in a low tone. “An engagement is a time to take a good look at your relationship and make sure this is what you want for the rest of your life..” Eunseo said again.

Bona was listening while playing with Eunseo’s shirt button since she was still on top of Eunseo.

“You must do that and decide for yourself!”

Bona started to think.

I don’t want to spend the rest of my life with him.

“If you decide to stay with your engagement, I should leave and move on. We’re just not meant to be then.” Eunseo said. “I’m sure I’ll find someone else out there.”

Please.. Don’t say that.. Bona started to freak out. She wanted Eunseo for herself.

“I need you to decide, Kim Jiyeon. Don’t play around with my feelings.”

“I’ll break it off tomorrow.” Bona blurted out.

“No! I need you to think deeply about this!”

“I have thought about it for a long time.” Bona confessed. “The reason I stay with him is because of my mother.. She wants me to get married.”

Eunseo held Bona’s hands. “Why are you letting other people to decide for you?”

“Because I thought I would never find someone to love..” Bona explained. “I’m just so grateful, that you bumped into me at the bakery shop.”

“No. You knocked me.” Eunseo hmphed.

“No! You pushed the door and.. Hmm okay this is not the time.” Bona chuckled. “The point is, I’m so grateful that I met you.” She held Eunseo’s hand tightly.

“Me too.” Eunseo mumbled.

“I’ll break it off tomorrow. I promise.
