Author’s Note:

This chapter is one of my favorites so far haha.

“His poems were mostly written during the period of World War II.” Seola was explaining in front of the class. As usual, being an awesome student, Eunseo was listening intently while writing on her notebook.

Soobin on the other hand was staring at her girlfriend nervously.

Does she know?? Nah.. I don’t think so.. What if she knows?!

“I know you might think that both World Wars’ poems were practically similar..” Seola was still explaining. “But there were some differences.. for example.. Rupert Brooke’s poems.”

She then looked at Eunseo.

“Son Eunseo, you want to explain on the themes of his poems?” Seola smiled. Eunseo was somehow ahead of everyone. She did a paper on today’s topic.

“Hmm.. why don’t you let Soobin explain?” Eunseo looked at Soobin smilingly.

What the..

“Hmm b-but you were the one who wrote about Rupert Brooke, sooo.. I want you to explain.” Seola was trying to save her girlfriend from embarrassment since everyone was looking at both Eunseo and Soobin.

“Yah!!” Soobin whispered to Eunseo.

“So Park Soobin.. What do you think of the main theme of Brooke’s poems?” Eunseo smiled as she stared at Soobin.

Soobin then looked at her lecturer who was standing in front of the class. She was actually giving her the look which only her girlfriend could understand.

“Hmm c-class.. Rupert Brooke was pretty much misunderstood on the concept of..” Seola quickly changed the topic.

Eunseo was still smiling to herself. She then turned to look at Soobin. “You guys are just too cute..” She giggled as she looked at her notebook.

CRAP! SHE KNOWSS!!

The class lasted for 3 hours before it finally ended. “So please, do some research on all the poets I have mentioned earlier.” Seola said.

Eunseo stood up and put all her books in her bag pack. She then looked at her phone.

From: Bona – “BE HERE BY 3PM.”

“Aishh.. No need to caps..” Eunseo mumbled annoyingly.

To: Bona – “YES MUM.”

Lucky for her, Seola ended the class 15 minutes earlier than the usual time. So she had plenty of time to go and pick her new glasses up.

Quickly made her way out of the lecture hall, Eunseo went to her bicycle and unlocked it. “I love you.” She said to her bicycle. “I won’t get rid of you. I promise!”

After almost 15 minutes, she finally arrived at the glasses shop.

“Hello.” Eunseo greeted the guy. “Is my glasses ready?”

“Yes it is.”

“Thank God. I’m sick of this one!” She took off her glasses and playfully threw it on the table. She then put on her new glasses and looked at the mirror. “Now I look pretty as before.” She giggled. The guy was also giggling at the same time.

“I’m sure your girlfriend will think so too.”

“Heh? I have a girlfriend? Since when?” Eunseo asked back.

“Oh I thought the rude- I mean the woman yesterday..”

“What? NO!!”

“Oops sorry.” The guy apologized. “The lady is kinda hot you know.” The guy smiled.

“Heh??”

“Yep.. I should make a move on her.”

“What?? NO!!”

Eunseo, are you for real??

”No! I-It’s because she’s e-engaged!!”

“Huh?”

“Hmm n-never mind.”

“Anyways, red suits you well.” They guy complimented her new glasses.

Eunseo looked at her watch and noticed that it was almost 2.45PM!

“Oh my Godd!!” She muttered. She had 15 minutes to be at Bona’s office. She really didn’t want the older girl to get mad at her. She was so tired of all the screaming and everything.

I really need to do something to stop myself from getting tortured by her.

Eunseo soon arrived at the building 3 minutes before 3PM. She was running inside the building as she made her way to the lift. She was panting so badly. She couldn’t even feel her legs because she was cycling so fast earlier.

*DING

“Urghh..” Eunseo collapsed on the floor after she went out from the lift.

“A-Are you okay??” The front desk girl exclaimed.

“I’m fine. I just need some air.” Eunseo was lying on the floor still out of breath. She then lifted her right hand to look at her watch. “Right on time..” She sighed.

“Why are you on the floor??” She heard the most familiar voice ever behind her.

“This is what happens when I listen to you..” Eunseo slowly woke up from the floor. She fixed her hair and stood up on her feet.

“Hmm.. let’s go.” Bona muttered.

“Is the place far?” Eunseo asked.

“Why?”

“I don’t want to leave my bike!!”

“JUST GET RID OF THAT STUPID BIKE FOR GOD’S SAKE!!”

“NOOO!!!”

“Get rid of the bike or you’ll have to-” Bona didn’t manage to finish her sentence when Eunseo interrupted her.

“DON’T YOU THREATEN ME ANYMORE!”

Surprisingly Bona let out a soft laugh.
