Currently she is at the roadside because her car suddenly broke. She has a workshop number but they definitely don’t want to come all the way from Seoul just to check her car. She is in another town right now. In the end, she sit on the sidewalk waiting for someone passing by and kindly helping her

Maybe God answered her prayer, someone with a motorcycle stopped in front of her. That person take off his helmet and give her big smile

“Ma’am, what happened to your car?”

“I don’t know. It suddenly broken” said Irene with frowning face

That guy get off his motorcycle and approaching Irene “Let me see if I can help you”

“Sure”

He checked the engine then after a few minutes he discovered the problem “It has a problem with the engine. When is your last service?”

Irene tapping her chin “About a month ago”

“Hmm, it's still new. Do you call the mechanic already?”

“No, I don’t know any workshop around here. I not from this town”

“Ohhh, no wonder I never see your face” he giggled. “I will call my friend. He own a workshop at this town”

[Phone call]

“Hello Yesung hyung…I need your help. My friend's car is broken and needs to be fixed at the workshop. Can you come and check it? … Okay hyung, I will share location…alright”

After tapping on his phone screen that probably sending location to someone he just talked with, that guy join Irene sit on the sidewalk

“Thanks for helping me” said Irene

“No problem, I’m glad that I can help someone in need” he smile

“What is your name?”

“I am Kang Seulgi” he hold out his hand for handshake

Irene gladly shake hand with Seulgi “My name is Bae Joohyun but you can call me Irene”

“Nice name” Seulgi smile while looking at Irene

“Thanks” Irene said shyly

Both of them silent for a couple of minutes until Seulgi speak again “Your car…it must be expensive” he looking at the luxury car in amazement

Irene also looked at her car with a proud smile “This car I bought after 3 years saving money. Before this I use a car that my dad bought for me”

“It satisfying when we use something that we buy with our own money” said Seulgi

“You’re right”

“Emm, where will you go after this? I can send you to your destination” Seulgi asking

Suddenly Irene pouting her lips “I have nowhere to go” she mumble

“What does that mean?” Seulgi confused

“I told you I’m not from this place. I escape from my house but my car is stupid that it can’t wait until I reach hotel or something”

Seulgi feel sorry at Irene “If you don’t mind, you can stay at my place”

“Ehh?” Irene flinch because no guy invite her to their place before this

Seulgi chuckled “Don’t worry, I stayed with my family. I have 2 sisters so they can accompany you. We have guest room”

“Okay, thanks for your kindness” Irene said

“No problem but we will ride my motorcycle. I don’t have car”

Irene's eyes turn wide and gulp because she never rides a motorcycle. “Are you sure we will arrive safely?”

Seulgi laughing “I’m still alive, don’t I?”

Irene just sighs heavily while staring at Seulgi transport. She have no choice but ride with Seulgi

Mechanic arrive 10 minutes later then they checking Irene’s car

“Ma’am, we have to tow your car to our workshop to check it further. We will call you again after we discover the problem”

Irene slowly nods her head “Okay, how long will it take?”

“Since my staff are busy today and now is 3 PM so we will check it tomorrow. We will call you once we figure it out”

“Okay” Irene taking a card from her wallet “This is my card. You can call me when it settle”

“Okay ma’am”

Yesung and his staff proceed to bring Irene's car to their workshop with their tow truck. Irene and Seulgi just watch them from the sidewalk. After the mechanic leave, Seulgi also decide to leave

“Shall we go now?” Seulgi asked

“What about my luggage?” Irene pointed at her luggage and backpack

“You carry that backpack and I will put your luggage at the front”

“But I’m scare” Irene pouting

Seulgi cackle “I never have an accident record. I am a safe rider, you know. Come on” he drags the luggage to his motorcycle while Irene walk behind him lazily

“Wear this helmet” Seulgi helping Irene with her helmet

“What about you?”

“Don’t mind me”

After that, Seulgi get on his motorcycle and bring along the luggage to his front “Get on”

“How?”

“Hold my shoulder and get on” Irene do as instructed “You can hold my shoulder or my waist, I don’t mind”

“O-okay” Irene choose to circle her arms around Seulgi waist

“Ready for the ride, let’s go” Seulgi chirped and start moving the motorcycle

“Drive safely” said Irene while looking at Seulgi through side mirror

“Okay!” Seulgi wink then Irene turn away blushing

After 10 minutes of riding, they finally arrive at Seulgi house. It is a medium size house and has a lot of flowers in the garden. The house compound is quite big surrounded by brick walls. Seulgi park his motorbike right in front of their house then he help Irene to get down

“So, here is my house…welcome~”

“Your house simple but design is awesome”

“Thank you” Seulgi giggle “Let go inside”

“Okay”

Seulgi led them to his house and called her parents “Umma! Appa!” he hollered soon as he open the door

“Yah Kang Seul…don’t shout like a freak!” said Mrs. Kang from the kitchen

Seulgi laughing as he succeeds making his mom upset “My mom is a bit loud so please get ready your ears. In this household, we do not speak normally, we shout. Not deaf but it our style” Irene giggle hearing Seulgi talk about his family “Let’s go to the kitchen”

When they show up at the dining table, Mr. Kang is reading the newspaper while eating snacks. Mrs. Kang is busy preparing for their dinner. As he saw Seulgi come with a beautiful girl, Mr. Kang choke his drink

“Hey!” Mrs. Kang quickly helped her husband “Why so clumsy?”

Mr. Kang ignoring his wife then looking at his son “Seul, who is that girl with you? Is that your girlfriend?”

Hearing that, Mrs. Kang turned to Seulgi followed by a loud gasp “Yah, Kang Seulgi! Do you kidnap someone’s daughter? How dare you? If you want to get married, just tell us. Don’t doing things as you pleased” she nagging with her hands on her waist and eyes open wide

Seulgi feels embarrassed hearing his parents talking nonsense “Appa…umma…calm down, will you? Oh my god” he rubbing his temple “Let me introduce her to you first then explain why she is here”

“Go ahead” said Mr. Kang

“Her name is Irene and Irene, they are my parents” said Seulgi

“Nice to meet you Mr. Kang and Mrs. Kang” Irene bow her head politely

“Nice to meet you too. Sorry for the commotion earlier, it is our daily routine” said Mrs. Kang then she invite Irene and Seulgi to sit then give a glass of juice for each of them

“Irene, why are you suddenly with Seulgi? Are you his girlfriend? I have to know since you are here with my son. If your parents looking for you at least I know how to answer them” said Mr. Kang
