Everyone has a soul. Some people's souls are pure with kindness, others' are plagued with cruel energy. In the bustling city of Seoul, South Korea, people of all characteristics roam the city. Crime is rampant, but so are those willing to stop it.
On the first day of classes, Seo Hyunwoo and the school's new kid find themselves sent into the soul of a wicked man who runs Seoul's black market, with nothing but a bird and their own so-called 'personas'.
They, and five other high school students, are ricocheted into the world of personas to use their new found powers to rid the city of evil souls all while confronting the darkness that taints their own.

Here are some that will be included in the fic ahead of time. TW: drug trafficking, work, drug use, violence, death. Once I choose all the apps, I will make sure to update with more TWs, and I will always include a TW at the beginning of a chapter that will touch on something triggering.

[A/N] AAAAAAHHH I've been meaning to make this fic for so long, so much so that I finally decided to put my other open app on hold to focus on this one. I love Persona 5 with all my heart, and have always wanted to make an applyfic surrounding it lol. Though Persona is a long running series, and each game has new elements sprinkled throughout, this fic is mostly based on the elements of P5 and the other games branching from it specifically.
For those who have never played Persona, I'll give a brief review of the elements from the games that I am using for this fic. Each character has a persona— a manifestation of their personality, emotions, and hardships. These personas give the characters the ability to fight shadows. In P5, the characters go into people's 'palaces' (a manifestation of distortion so strong, it becomes its own location in the Metaverse, which is a seperate realm from our own where the characters can use their personas) to steal their hearts and make them confess their actions. They also can explore Mementos, which is a manifestation of all people's distortions— because everyone has distortions, just most are not cruel and strong enough to form their own palace. This will be similar in the fic, except our characters will be entering people's 'souls' (instead of it being named 'palace') to clean it of wickedness.
