Jennie noticed that the majority of the neighborhood families had babies and toddlers that lived around Wendy’s home. If she would visit during the day, they would greet the Red Velvet main vocalist and tell her about their days with Wendy crouching down to listen to them intently.

She recalled the other day a pair of sisters ran up to her girlfriend.

“Seungwan Imo!”

Wendy and Jennie turned around to find two small girls running up to the shorter woman. Crouching down, the two girls ran into Wendy’s arms and the smaller of two sat on Wendy’s lap. “Seungwan Imo, you are finally home!” The small girl had a cute lisp, making her “s” sound like a “th” sound. Jennie had to stifle a giggle, “Theungwan.”

“Me and Hyejoo went to the park, then we went to McDonald’s and got happy meals for being good!” The smaller girl on Wendy’s lap shared with her. Wendy chuckled slightly, “That sounds great, Yerimmie. What did you have, Hyejoo-ah?”

“I had chicken nuggets and fries, we also got a toy,” The taller girl smiled and held up a small toy.

“We just wanted to share that with you, see you later Seungwan Imo!”

Yerim jumped off Wendy’s lap and grabbed her sister’s hand.

The two little girls bid Wendy goodbye and ran off to their parents.

Another instance was when Jennie was waiting outside the Son home and watched the interaction between her girlfriend and a little boy. Wendy was about to greet Jennie, but was stopped by a small toddler.
