Latens Preparatory Academy is set in Greendale, a place where time and space bends ― easier said, the dead do not remain dead for long in Greendale. With all the odd and supernatural occurrences in Greendale, one would expect the town's people to realize that they were not completely alone.

However, it seems as though every weird event that has happened in the past gets brushed under the rug and forgotten soon after. Those who know, stay hidden and those who don't remain oblivious of the creatures that live amongst them.

Disguised as a normal preparatory school, Latens' students consists of not only mere mortals but those that venture across the realm of the dead, the faeland, the netherworld and even the celestial realm.
