Binge watching while the droplets of the rain hitting the roof of our house, people kind of liking this night—well as they should. Rain makes me calm, for me it is peaceful to only hear the sound of the drops. My mom get my phone to me and she will only give it back to me if ever I passed the exam. I can't do anything here, they even left me here while they go shopping, eating together with my dad. She said this is my punishment for having a low grade at 1st semester. I told them I want STEM, but they still pushed me to enroll at ABM. Literally no freedom.

As I fixed my things, turned off the television—I heard a sound coming from my window. I was shocked and I walk near to it slowly, I am one foot away when I saw another rock hitting my window. After being infront of the square glass I saw a familiar face of the girl smiling and waving her hand as I open the window. 

"Hi princess, mind if I take you to a place we only know?"

I stepped out of the glass window silently since it's already evening—11PM. I flashed a smile at her, she's waiting for me to jump out. 

"I'm scared, Yeji!"

I told her with a not so loud voice, Yeji is my suitor. She's the one who makes me feel alive, when the word suffocate me—she let me breathe.

"I'll catch you baby, don't worry!"

I did it.

I jumped and she catched me with an embrace.

We laughed.

"I told you, I'll catch you! Wow, you did great. Let's go?"

She then grabbed my hand and intertwined it leaving our house, it is not raining anymore but the way are still soaking wet. We run as fast as we can to be able to not get caught but the guard saw us, when we're already near the place the rain start to pour again. We laughed, our hands still holding each other as we enter the place where is no one is allowed to, the guard stopped when it's already raining so we slow down from running. This is our favourite place, people from there told us it's too dangerous but the truth is this is so beautiful.

"I thought we will get caught"

I said while still panting, heavy breathing—birds twitting and some loud sound was the only sound I heard here. 

"Not when I'm with you, but how could you run that fast? Ah, I'm tired"

I was scared.

goddammit.

I don't want to get caught.

So I run as fast as I can, pulling Yeji to run fast too.

"Uh, you're going to have a fever now because of what I did. I should've stayed in your room and leave if your parents are there already."

She rolled her eyes which I find so cute, Yeji walked closer to me giving me a tight hug, rubbing her hands at my back to atleast give warmth. She's too precious.

I sway my body, as I started singing. She looked at me still with her ear-to-ear smile and sway her body just like mine. She took my hand and placed it on her neck while her hands are on my waist, I looked at her and our eyes met. It's been 6 months of her courting me and she never failed to make my heart flutter. 

Sun rise, time flies.

I stopped singing the last part when she suddenly said those words, my heart beat faster than it should. I can feel my cheeks getting red. I was about to tell her something when someone shouted from my back

"Winter, let's go!"

She grabbed my hand again for a fast run.

I was admiring the sight of her guiding me to be home, she's the light when my path is being dark.

We stopped in front of the gate from our house, we hide first so that the guard won't see us. It is not my second time to run so we don't get caught. After the guard run back at his place, we—yeji and I let out a small chuckle.

"Thank you for this Yeji, you never failed to make me smile"

I looked at her eyes—her eyes that is sparkling. Her cat eyes that makes her more beautiful, I will never get tired of looking at those.

"Thank you too, and I only want is to make you smile. Goodnight Winter, have a great sleep!"

She kissed my forehead and started walking away

"Wait!"

She stopped and faced me.

"I love you too Yeji"
