Strange Rocks
I am back again,
In the place where dark waters reach out for me,
Where I cannot help but look into the dark blue
As though they are calling out to me.
I need to fish, I know not why
I do need them... someone awaits it.
My iron bucket remains empty
much like my own self, seated in these strange rocks.
But tonight, something’s stranger still.
There’s someone behind me
And although she says nothing, I feel her...
Straight to my bones.
The wind never bothered me,
But today I worry that the wind is too cold,
Today I worry the water is too strong
Today I worry.
